    That gate is really creative.

It will be interesting to see what the perfume bottles are made of.

That gif is a perfect time for me to confess I've never seen the movie. Ditto NBC.

Russ hasn't seen it yet, so we are watching it this year closer to Halloween. I'm both excited and scared. This could be a pivotal moment in our relationship.

    (I'm only mostly joking... XD)

Actually, me, too...for both of them. I sort of just re-watch Clue over and over again around Halloween.

I saw Hocus Pocus when it first came out, but not since then. So I don't remember anything about it.

I have also never seen ENG ( I was looking forward to Kingdom of the Sun and Sting songs, and that's not what was released so I was "boycotting," now it's almost 20 years).

I totally understand. I didn't watch it until a couple of weeks ago. Didn't watch NBC until 2 years ago.

I belong to the Disney Movie Club and this month's featured shipment is a combo pack of both films so I'm going to just let them arrive. My son's best friend's yard was filled with NBC decorations last year so it would do him some good to see it.

I saw Hocus Pocus in theaters, but mostly just remember it being the one Halloween movie that would be on tv, usually Disney Channel each year. I think it really got a rebirth being shown so much now on ABC Family/Free Form. It's my one favorite thing about Halloween (I'm not big on holiday myself, but appreciate everyone else's enthusiasm for it!).

My mom's favorite movie was NBC. We saw it in theaters, she special ordered the soundtrack, she bought the VHS tape instantly. She threw a big NBC Halloween party back in the 90's. She was ecstatic when Hot Topic and other retailers started to make merch.

The bulk of my coworkers have not seen Hocus Pocus and most of them are only vaguely aware of NBC. Most of them are also of the opinion Disney is for kids so they miss about 99% of the Disney quotes and references I use. At least we can all quote Blazing Saddles!

NBC was a pivotal movie in my childhood and I still adore it. HP is more a funny popcorn movie for me, so I look forward to it coming on every year. Might be time to get a copy on DVD or Blueray, since my mom has never seen it. (I know, le gasp!) and it might also be time to upgrade my NBC VHS to Blueray. Hmmm.

The bulk of my coworkers are in their late 20s and early 30s, so they love Hocus Pocus and more than one has a NBC tattoo.

We've been showing both Hocus Pocus and NBC at work, you can't imagine how many people just stop and watch it for a few minutes. I'm thinking of putting away Incredibles and putting in Coco for the season as we should be getting I2 next month anyway...

Wow, and to think the other day I was so scared of flying tomatoes that I didn't want to confess that I haven't seen Hocus Pocus! HA. I agree, Tessa, you picked the wrong moment to ditch that collection, because my original comment (withheld out of "fear," ha ha) was going to be, "I haven't even seen 'Hocus Pocus,' but that lanyard medallion is GORGEOUS!"

I have seen NBC and just ... didn't care? I didn't hate it, I don't mind Burton (he's rather fascinating, since he pretty much exemplifies the concept that to be truly creative, you have to be somewhat mentally ill ... the old mad/genius dichotomy), but I also don't love it the way lots of folks do. A previous BF actually really, really loved NBC and I had never seen it, so he asked me to go to an anniversary re-release. It was 3D. I found that distracting (it didn't seem to ADD anything to the experience), and I don't know that it didn't influence my feelings about the film.

I will admit to actively disliking Tim Burton's style. Beetlejuice was probably the only thing I enjoyed. After that it was just more of the same.

D23 is having special free screenings of both films in selected cities. Chicago voted for NBC and I will be going. We get EITHER a small popcorn or a small drink. And it is 10 am on a Sunday morning, downtown. Not the ideal situation, but I don't get many other perks with my membership living in the middle of the country, so I am taking advantage of this one.

I'm taking my grandmother to ours, we got NBC also. She has never seen it before, so hoping she enjoys!
