Hmm....maybe it'll be worth it to renew again this year? I wasn't planning on it (the one event I really want to go to is a few weeks before my membership expires) but that set is pretty nice!

Every year you renew or join as a gold member or higher, you get a gift. This is the gift for those who renew or join next year.
 
It changes every year. This year was the Mickey 90th, last year it was the 9 old men collection. It's usually something having to do with the archives. I don't think pins have ever been this heavily featured

It's interesting that WDW has the medals and DLR has the crests. They seem very similar theme to me. But I think I like the crests more.

Wow, january is crammed with nice pins, gonna be sooo expensive. I thought the sleeping beauty anniversary was the end of january too, but I dont see the previewed ones. Maybe theyre gonna be february?

Edit: second look is even worse, everything I like is part of a series, records, consoles, windows, pop up books. Only saving grace the handheld gamings are only bi-monthly, so I got that going for me, which is nice

The Sleeping Beauty pins are being delayed until February and will first release at the PTN early in the month. :)

My daughter heard at the Aug. pin event that the handheld gaming pins are going to be monthly, but the catch will be that they will be released at DLR in odd months and at WDW in even months. Could some help confirm if this is the case.

Can definitely confirm.

There will be a shared monthly release (Kingdom Consoles), and then a Bi-monthly alternating release (I Heart Gaming) which will be the handheld looking pins.

They are certainly playing up the retro/nostalgia angle with the console/video game/vinyl record ones! I'm safe from everything except the Lion King console at the end of the month. I was hoping for something a little more interesting on the 17th, TBH. :/
