How to clean Free-D pins?

Hello! I received a pin as a gift a while, but recently, I acquired a pin book and put the pin in there. Last night, I noticed some of the black (the flap in between the actual pin pages) was rubbing off onto the free-d part T__T I tried to google it but was wondering if anyone could share tips!

I've been successful with just a tad bit of rubbing alcohol. Those darn love letters were such a pain...

Yes, diluted water/ alcohol solution has worked best for me.

Yes the alcohol works great !!or a q-tip of bleach ,that I have fine before
