Psycho's Pin Poem game JULY 1
**part of my July Psychotic zap Mayhem games**

Write a brand new, totally authentic poem about pins.
"But pixie, thats not psycho! We all do that!!!"​

Ah, yes, but you see, your poem must include these 7 words.​

    [*=left]it must include all 7 words listed or you are disqualified.
    [*=left]a video of you reading the poem will earn you brownie points, and MAY effect your chances of winning.
    [*=left]someone asked me once if a song is a poem and I said yes. So yeah, you could sing it too if you want.

O pins,
How I love you.
How I crave the cold metal on my lanyard!

Pins!
So pretty,
When they are Giselle or Punzie.

Pins!
So awesome,
When they are dragons and villains.

O pins,
How you light a fire in my soul!

Pins!
The apple of my eye,
The smile on my face.

Pins!
How my soul makes music,
Like a xylophone!

O pins,
Simple Mickey or sought after BT,
How you make me happy!

Pins!
Because of you,
I am pinsane.
 
Ok, here goes:

Pins are Awesome
Dragons are too
I'm a little pinsane
and likely so are you

Like a purple apple,
or a dance with Mickey mouse,
or a very confused bird
with a xylophone for a house

We're all a little pinsane
and really that's ok
this fire for collecting
makes things interesting everyday
 
Man it would be cool to win this. I know EXACTLY who I'd pick for it to go to, too. They'd never see it coming. He heh heh ^^

I still might do a vid of myself reading the poem. You said that could affect our chances, right? Oh, what if I illustrate the poem instead? Mine does have some rather striking imagery in it ^^

Pins, dear pins, you're driving me pinsane!
Mickey, Tink, and Stitch, they're always in my brain!

I'm always seeing dragons (Maleficent, you know),
And sometimes even princesses. Don't take the apple, Snow!

It might sound pretty crazy,
Like an xylophone played by Daisy.

But pins, they are so awesome!
They can make any person blossom!

Pins, though they haunt my every thought,
Collect them, too, you aught


Meh, I tried. :lol: And by Daisy, I was referring to Daisy Duck. It was difficult for me to fit xylophone in there ;)

Ok have not written a poem since High School so please try not to laugh, but saw this and had to give it a shot.

Mickey is the mouse who started it all,
But since pin trading was created now we are having a ball.

With new releases everywhere we look,
Everyone is clamoring to see if that new Rapunzel pin is in someone's book.

With so many pins to choose from who could resist,
the pins keep piling up on our wants list.

From pins depicting xylophones and dragons breathing fire to teacher's getting apples on the first day of school
we all have to be careful to watch out that we do not drool.

Pins make grown ups shout with glee when getting our pin grails
or moan in defeat when that trade for a Designer Princess pin fails.

Some non traders think it's awesome and some think we are pinsane,
but no one can beat this DPF family that I am truly blessed to have gained.

Now let's all meet up at DSF and get a Pin Trader's Delight,
because nothing is better than a pin that comes with ice cream right?
 
Ha ha .. this was a great idea, here is my attempt:

Xylophones have keys, yet never a lock
Mickey is a mouse who is in shock
He sees scrappers, and shakes his head
The fire is lit, Mickey Mouse is mad

A pin has a head, but has no hair
Dragons fire up, but do not burn fuel
An apple has a stem, but has no roots
This pinsane poem will cause awesome disputes
 
Okay, if Ms Merryweather is playing...

A fire burned in the land to the West
Where dragons reside below western shacks
To awaken when the day turns black.
We enter, and climb to begin our tour;
An awesome noise begins to sound
A whistle? A clack? No, a xylophone.
We board, then ride until we see the place
Where Mickey lives and plays.
Although the mad run free, and hell is near
There is no fire here.
A poisoned apple tempts beauty
Feathers let us fly
But the fire calls, so we make our way
To the place rockets fill the sky
We go beyond infinity, and the fire is found
A dazzling display, now held in our palm
The fire recedes, we’re released for the day
Breathe deep as we leave, but not quite relaxed
The next fire will rise, singing our names
Driving us to return, because we're all pinsane.

And yes, there is a xylophone in the Main Street Train Station. It returned from refurbishment just last month.
