I am finally at the point where I want to buy pin pages for my disney pins.Between the newer pinfolio stick n go pages and the krakentrade pages far as quality are they pretty equal and the big thing for me is one easier on pin posts and posts less likely to be damaged on one versus the other?

I have not used Krakentrade pages yet, but I really like GoPinPro.

I have ordered some of their pages as well as two their mystery grab bags. It came with a variety of products, and I use most of them. It has greatly helped my move from storing pins in bins to storing them in PinFolios and binders.

My last order was Thanksgiving weekend and they arrived December 6th (I just looked it up).

I hope this helps!

I am looking forward to reading about KrakenTrade pages.

I don't have Pinfolio pages and haven't used my Kraken book yet, but since participating in these swap boxes, where people use Kraken, Pinfolio, and coroblast pages, I noticed that the pin posts were bent on the pins I selected from Pinfolio and coroblast pages

We’ve had bent posts from KrakenTrade but never Pinfolio. We prefer Pinfolio for the softer material but I would like to point out that some of the pins we have with longer posts DO go through the Pinfolio pages and NOT the KrakenTrade pages. Hope that helps a little.

I am hands down a kraken girl.

Kraken can be very slow to ship, so sometimes they get bad press for that. But if you have a problem they will always make it right.

I have had two interactions with the pinfolio people and both times they were outrageously rude to the point where I refuse to buy their products and take every chance I can to share with the pin community how awful they are. The second one - the really bad one - my friend ordered a custom printed bag for me. Their printer was running out of ink, so they just printed it anyway and sent us the poorly printed design and colored in the edges with sharpie. My friend, who had worked with them before on custom orders and had a good relationship prior to this, asked them to correct it and they refused and were so incredibly nasty to her. These bags cost way too much (especially with a custom design) for you to be sending me a bag with printer lines in the design and sloppy sharpie marks. And then be rude about it!!! *!%#!

I’ll add too - a few years ago on Facebook there was a super contentious thread about this topic. Someone posted something like “I just got my kraken and I love it!” And other people posted similarly. So the pinfolio mom pretended to be a customer and started bashing kraken and arguing with people that pinfolio was better: which caused more people to chime in and say they didn’t like pinfolio for various reasons, which in turn caused her to start bashing her own customers. It was entertaining to say the least. Trying to find it…

Another vote for Kraken Pages.
I have used both and vastly prefer the Kraken pages due to the sole fact that pins do not move. I can turn my pages upside down and hit them and nothing moves. I frequently demonstrate this at trade events. I also love the pink color they come in.

I have both sets of pin pages and the books by Kraken and Pinfolio. I like both and they work for storing pins. I prefer the Pinfolio pages since they are smaller and the pages are not as thick. Also the smaller pinfolio books work well with how I store my pins, because Kraken takes up a bit more space. The Kraken books work well. I think either will work well for storing pins. I have not had shipping issues with Pinfolio. Only thing is the books sometimes have a chemical smell, when they arrive so you have to air them out a bit (usually just a couple hours) and then they are fine. With Kraken, I have had shipping issues where it was slow. Two separate times I pre-ordered some new pin books of certain colors and after a few months seeing on facebook and instagram others receiving their book of the pre-order color I contacted Kraken and they let me know they over sold the books and did not have any more of the color I pre-ordered available. They gave me a refund, but it soured me a bit having it happen twice on two separate occasions and I had to reach out for status. It was early on in them starting the books and hope they have improved the handling of pre-orders.

This is funny - I have several products from both companies but had the opposite experience from @maiarebecca. (Though I never heard about the drama that took place on FB! Cringe.)

I’ve had good luck ordering from Pinfolio (knock on wood), but found the Kraken people to be dismissive and kind of rude. Also, they took a ridiculously long time to ship my Megalodon.

(I preordered a book that was supposed to arrive the next month; I waited over six months - other people received their books, but I had to remind them several times before they shipped, and I never got an apology or anything.).

However, their quality is fantastic and I especially love their clear plastic pin pages (dividers). I often get compliments on them at trade events. I also love that their regular pin pages are a plain, solid background, which make them easy to photograph. (Most of Pinfolio’s products have a large P on the background.)

I like them both. I just got another 2 megs but only for the case colors; I’ll post some pics in a couple days. It came with 4 pages but I seem to only be able to fit 3. Maybe the fantasy pins I have are thick.

Pinfolio Pro - I’m not sure if they still make this exact book, but it’s one of my favorites. The pages don’t come out, but they fit a lot, and I love the plain black background. Also, it changes from a handheld bag to a crossbody or a backpack, depending what you prefer.

I love my pinfolio pros. I think they stopped making these.

I’ve been looking around, and it looks like they started making them again! (Yay!) They’re only in black, and It doesn’t look like they have backpacks straps anymore, but otherwise they look the same, don’t you think?

I also meant to share a close up photo of Kraken’s pin dividers, which are FANTASTIC. They are similar to the baseball card protectors that some people use, but these actually have little buttons that snap at the top and keep your pins in!

This way, you don’t have to worry about your pins falling out, or suffer through punching your pin through the plastic in the back.

Highly recommended!

(They also have these in different sizes for different kinds of pins!)

Hmm, this reminds me i have a cool backpack one somewhere, misplaced the box it was in. Going to have to look for it. I think its got the grey pages though, i wish they were the black plain cause that looks nicer. But i'm pretty sure it came with the grey pages. But it had the backpack straps :) I also have one of the little ones with the blue felt page in the middle. I remember getting it on their not quite perfect sale. It was really handy for going around the parks back when i could still do that :)

Those plastic pages look interesting are there any scratching issues with the snaps hiting the pins?
