NORTHEAST It Started with One Collection… 😅

Hi everyone! 👋

I figured it was time to introduce myself after admiring everyone else's collections!

Like many collectors, I started with one focus and somehow ended up with several. 😅 My main collections are Minnie dressed up (specifically without backgrounds or words), Ariel, DS/DA carousels, core, and vintage stamp pins.

I also collect firefighter pins for my husband, which has been a fun collection to build together.

What started as a few focused collections has definitely turned into a slippery slope. Every time I think I've narrowed things down, I discover a new niche that catches my attention. Lately I've found myself diving into more crossover pins, so my collection continues to grow in directions I never expected!

I love seeing everyone's collections, learning about obscure vintage pins, and connecting with fellow collectors. Looking forward to chatting, trading, and sharing this hobby with all of you!

Great collections! I collect characters in costume/non traditional clothing/cross over. This was a category I also discovered well after locking in a few collections. Today I caught up with my munchling collection and obtained the last one I needed from series 4 (fingers crossed I am done with that one, but will have fun chasing new ones if Disney decides to release more.)

I struggle to keep myself strictly Lady and the Tramp, but I admit some tiny little side collections somehow formed when I wasn't paying attention lol

You'll have no problem with sticking to one focus here - that is, when you're constantly seeing new releases, other trader's collections, & a variety of pins you previously didn't know existed being offered up for trade, the 'problem' of only having one focus will be gone for good.

More seriously, I love carousel pins too! I'd love to see your collection.

A crossover fellow collector!! 😊 I swear that collection is a never-ending rabbit hole. Every time I think I’ve seen it all, I discover another vintage pin I didn’t know existed…and then Disney goes and releases even more. 😝

Huge congratulations on completing a set!! There’s honestly nothing better than finally finding that last elusive pin and being able to say, “It’s done!” Such an amazing feeling.

I suspect my wallet is going to regret joining this forum. 😂 Between new releases, amazing collections, and all the pins I didn’t even know existed, I can already tell my “focused” collecting days are numbered.

It’s wonderful to meet another carousel collector! Those pins have such a special charm. I’ll have to put together some photos of my collection to share. I would love to see your collection too!!
