I recently set up a board for all my water-themed pins - from the ocean & islands, to pirates & waterfalls!
It's not a very full board yet (& has a distinct shortage of Disney pins) because I intentionally set it up to be able to expand; but I'm very pleased with how the design turned out.

I love a good themed DIY display! I was looking over your pins and was like... is that BUBBLE MAN?! Seeing some Mega Man references here was definitely not on my bingo card!
It is! I was a huge fan of the Mega Man Battle Network games as a kid; & still have a soft spot for the franchise in general (including being quite possibly the only person who liked the Fully Charged cartoon from a few years ago - I'll be the first to admit it had flaws, but it also had some really neat ideas).

I totally remember people roasting Megaman's design for that show, haha. Battle Network, and the GBA era in general, was really something else. Miraculously, I'm pretty sure there were some Battle Network merch released recently, no? Figures or model kits or something...

When I was a very young child, my aunt brought back RockMan 2 for me on the famicom. In retrospect, I think it was a cruel gift (can't blame her, no way she'd ever know), but I think it at least hardened me for challenging video games for my present-day self. Anyway, that's all to say that I'm right there with you with Megaman!

I have a theory that people's problem with that design is less about the design itself, & more with the overall style of a lot of recent animated shows . . . which to be fair is something I'd agree with. (I loved Mega Mini, though, & the whole idea of taking on new abilities being useful; but coming with major consequences.)

I have one of those model kits (that I still need to build), & a truly excellent action figure from a few years back!

I don't think I've ever finished a classic Mega Man game, super hard games are not for me. (I'm at peace with that, I play games to relax & have fun, & if the difficulty means I'm no longer having fun, what's the point? There are so many fantastic 'easy' games. 🙂 )

This is really beautiful!
