sadly i got this too, Disney told me that everyone who placed an online will be affected, but they were sending out a mystery for each pin cancelled so I would get 3 pins, to replcace the 3 im not getting!! might call back tomorow to check this as everyone seems to have a differnt amount of replacement pins
 
Yep me too mine was 9.05 could not have been any earlier pins went on at about 9.03 and it takes 2 minutes to process it. I have sent vitriol back by email but they really dont care as it happens I dont collect only trade them so I will have two less traders I suppose but whena re they going to get this right I would go to a store and buy but of course dont have a local one which sells!! Also why I am restricted to buying only one uk flag vynal at a time? Nowhere I know of parks, resorts countries does this execpt disneystore uk!!

To be honest I'm really glad that I did not bother ordering this time round - after the recent Tangled mess it's lesson learnt! Nice to hear that you're receiving "free" pins from other peoples returns. If Disney cannot get the on-line ordering system right for ONE pin what chance do they have for 3 at the same time?? I sincerely hope that all of you affected are putting your complaints into writing & sending them en-mass to the Customer Services - pathetic on Disney's behalf!

I got this email today as well I am very curious about the mystery pin??? I really can t see it being a gondola more likely to be a stitch on a bike lol or if we are really lucky maybe they will break open some of those box sets I missed lol
Oh well at least we can use the code next time ohhhh maybe get one of the box sets at little cheaper lol
I just hope they don t limit it to one pin that be a pain!!!

I wonder if it will be a core pin.

If they are sending emails to everyone who ordered on Friday, how can they have enough "Mystery pins" that have been returned for everyone? Bet it will be Aristocats or Nala core pins or the two older pins that are still on the DS UK Website!

I understand how frustrating this is, and I would be mad. But, they are still much kinder than the CMs here in US.

For one my recent orders, I ordered 4 pins. 2 came and 2 did not. I did not get a notification either. When I called customer service, here is what I was told by a very sassy CM who obviously had no interest in people's requests:

"We do not know if we have enough pins for evey order until we start filling the orders in person. If we run out of a pin, we notify the customer in the way that is most convenient to us. Either way, you do not get charged for pins that we do not have in stock."

That was it and I could not believe my ears. Then she had the nerve to wish me a magical day before she hung up :rofl:

In my case, the most convenient way for them was not to notify me at all and let me figure things out when my order came.

I'm fairly new to all this but had the same issue. I was ordering 2 of each pin (Tiana & Muppets) for my two DDs' collections and got the email the same as everyone else. I too was online bang on 9 am and ordered as soon as they came online which was about 9.03 am.

I haven't complained yet. I guess I will see what I get first. The money has been taken out of the bank but no sign of any refund yet (that would give me more idea what I will be getting).

It is really shocking to see how badly organised this is. I have just had issues booking our next Disneyland Resort Paris trip hotel after coming across two horrible CMs out of 4 calls I made (all were in the US call centre). I really didn't think Disney was that bad.... Chaotic and a shambles springs to mind....

I got the impression from my email that I was only getting one mystery pin (it will obviously be something they couldn't sell at the time!).

Time will tell....
 
Disneystore just refunded me £9 which I asssume means only one squirrels pin god forbid they should actually give out information. Its often the 150s which seem to be the worst of this but frankly I am giving up sitting at a computer at 9.00 .m. on a friday just to get messed with again!!! This time they didnt even reply to my email of complaint

I didnt get a second email from Disney as many of you seem to have, so I phoned them. I was told that I would get one of each pin. I finally got a second email from them, but all it said was that my refund had been processed and that my order would be with me in 5 working days.

Doesnt seem to be any clear system of notifying people.

I'm a bit confused by your post - which are the free pins you are getting? Did you order Bambi etc when released or is that one of your 'mystery' pins? I'd rather have that that a Cars pin - my girls really are NOT into Cars!!

I've heard nothing since the 'we can't fulfill your total order email' and still no refund in the bank - just the initial amount taken out?

Think I might need to email them - do you just reply to the original email or there an address I should be using?

I ordered 2 Tiana, 2 Muppets and 2 Sword in the stone-pins.
Because I only get 1 Tiana, 1 Muppets and 1 Sword in the stone-pin (one of each)
I will get 3 mystery(free) pins and those are for me: 1 Robin Hood, 1 Bambi and 1 Lion King.

I just replied to the original email to complain in the first place, got an answere wich didn't help me, a day later I got the mail to confirm they have sent the order and what I did actually was going to get.

So, for every Item you have ordered and they can't deliver your getting your money back and a mystery pin.

I also havent seen the money back, but last time my order was cancelled it took a few days too (this is my 3th time that this happened but never got mystery pins before)
 
Thanks for the explanation Ronald. I still haven't heard anything so hoping I get similar to you (and not Cars!). I only ordered Muppets & Tiana so will only get 2 mystery pins.

I'm hoping the next release they'll be sorted out but I doubt it if past experience is anything to go by....

Its a mix of pins then :) well I d be happy with any as they would do to trade in park when I go.
I managed to bag two Tiana pins today in store woot they had a few left. That was good cos I only went to pick up a stitch vinylmation!!

I guess they figured that it would be easier sending replacement pins rather than refunding everyone's money. It will be interesting to see if they do that in the U.S. next time there's a pin everyone wants, whenever that may be, its been pretty slim pickings for us here lately! If anybody wants to trade their Bambi pin, I'd love to have one!

The pins they're giving out are free. I'm happy to trade the Bambi One.

Glad I was sitting down when I read that Disney was actually giving them out for free! :shock: I'd love to trade for the Bambi pin! Is there anything of mine you'd like for it? If so, please PM me. :)
 
I'm beginning to worry - I haven't had a shipped email at all. I replied to the original 'sorry we messed up' email last night to ask what was happening. Is that the best email to use do you know?

I might have a spare Tiana IF my 1 x Tiana turns up as I have one in hand now.

I will be keeping my bambi & lion king (presuming that is what I get).....

Worried my order is going to be cancelled for some reason?
