Hello, I saw the DLR post like this and am heading to WDW in March and wondered about the best places to find pins there. thanks for any advice!

Hey,

There are a few stores that I always hit up when I want to buy me some pins.

There are 3 stores that I always have luck finding the pins that I want:

1. Disney Pin Traders in Downtown Disney.
2. Frontier Trading post in Magic Kingdom. I always end up doing most of my trading in this store too. They have a washboard, 2 hats, and a stuffed bear with pins for trade....sometimes you have to ask for them though.
3. Pin Central in EPCOT...it is definitely smaller than the other 2 but again I have success finding pins there. They also have tables in front that have people trading.

For me the hit and miss stores are:
1. The Sorcerer's Hat in Hollywood Studios
2. Island Mercantile in Animal Kingdom.

Disney Outlet in outlet mall at end of International Dr.. Cheapest they have is 7.99, 4 pack with flap lanyard. No dollar pins when we were there 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for all the tips! This is what I was looking for. I have never worried about LE pins for sale but think I will be more interested this time. In the past I have just bought pins that commemorated the trip. I have been trading more online so would like to get pins that people will want to trade for but stay within a budget. I will be checking out the outlet if we can make it there.

Preciousawakening pretty much hit all the big pin stores on resort property. Don't forget to hit the Main Street Pin Trading Station across Casey's Corner, though it's sadly not as big as when they had it behind the Jeweler's Shop. The "Character Auditions Outlet" on International Drive by Our Lady of the Universe Shrine is probably the premiere place for discount pins, they usually have a limited supplies depending when you go just because of it's closeness to the park. Also, If you have a CM friend, don't feel bad about asking to go to Cast Connection or Company D behind MK.

I would love to check out the CM stores but unfortunately don't know anyone since we just visit every year or two. I am looking forward to all the spots listed and enhancing our trip by buying a few pins while we are there! thanks. Shelly
