Today at around 9pm, Disneyland tweeted this:

I ran straight there and came up with 4 different pre-production pins. Four cast members had lanyards filled with limited pins and PP pins. I got there just as they were running out. I can't imagine what was on them when they first came out. The PP pins I got are all the pins below except the two NBC pins at the bottom: http://t.co/e4Md2kUb

Ill post better pictures tomorrow. For now I must sleep! Just thought I'd share. Anybody else partake in these crazy trades?

I so wanted to go to that, but the park ended up being so packed, that when I got that text, there was no way I could even make it from Thunder Trail to the Main Street Firehouse. And I want to know who's idea it was to do it in an already crowded area, right before the parade?? That didn't help me either. On a normal day, it would have been no issue getting anywhere in the park in 15 minutes, but last night, it took half an hour just to exit some lands sometimes. It was really too busy!!

I had a feeling that there was going to be Artist Proof and PP pins on the lanyards, and it kinda sucks they only held two of them. I was hoping that they would do another sometime but I guess not. Good work on your finds though! :)
 
I believe they actually did this through most of the night. I entered the park around midnight and they did the lanyards 3-4 times since I got there. I was able to trade once. I didn't know they had a twitter specifying locations though. It was so nice for them to do that. :)

So I was at the park yesterday from 6AM - 6AM. At about 10 PM, i was trading at Little Green Men in Tomorrowland and saw cast members walk up in red Jackets. Looked odd in Tomorrowland, then they unzipped their jackets and pin lanyards appeared. I went over to trade to find out that she was wearing 2 lanyards. One was a lanyard of AP, PP, and old LE pins. The other full of the new hidden Mickey pins. After trading with this one person, found out there were 3 others. Before I knew what was happening they were gone. I spoke with the manager with them and he gave the twitter information. They did come back around 1 AM, and was told that they were at other locations throughout the parkt till 3 AM. Will post pics of the ones I got later.

Ohhh I should post pics of mine!!!! :0) i got a bunch!!! we tracked them down and ended up with the wonderful read coat people 4 or 5 times - I cant remember!!! HUGE thank you to AJC who pointed them out to me the first few times!!! - lets go!!!! lol . . . .

Even had I been there I would have been left out. My old style cell phone is great .. for phone calls. It doesn't do twitter and is slower than January molassas for text.

There were two Cast Members dressed in red. One male and one female. At 11:00, I met the two as they were introduced to the crowed at Carnation. They are 2012 Ambasadors. One from DLR and one from WDW. The Female was DLR. She was talking to the Group in front of me while waiting for the Mickey Slumber Bash. It was Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy dressed in their PJ's for a photo opp.

Did you notice their gold pin on their left shoulder? Never seen those pins before. It's not on Pinpics yet. They did not expose any pins to us. Guess they would have been mobbed with the 200+ guest waiting for their one time photo.
