Anyone ever seen this old Cool Runnings movie pin from Walt Disney Pictures? There is no writing on the back. I got it today with a bunch of other Olympics pins from someone. It looks legitimate. Is this a new unheard-of pin from long ago? I can't image someone would have taken the time to fake this back in 1993.

I've gone ahead and added it to PinPics for now under pin #90493.

Here's a picture of the movie poster from back in the day:

What do you think?

I don't know about the pin, but I loved the movie! I have never heard of this pin, and fakes are usually found in more than one place, so I doubt it if yours is a fake. Don't remember even hearing about fakes in 1993, so enjoy the pin!

How cool! That was a great movie! There might be something to the idea that perhaps it came out with the movie...I wonder if you were to ask the powers that be, over at Disney, if they would be able to find the answer for you?

OMG! There IS one still out there! Now try to find the black, green, red and yellow one.

Side note, did you know John Candy does NOT have a star on Hollywood Blvd? What a shame!

So may great quotes from that movie. Sanka is hilarious!

Here's some of my favorites.

"I see Pride! I see Power! I see a bad-a$$ mutha' that won't take no crap off of nobody!"
"What'cha smokin' mon?"
"I'm not smokin', I'm breathin'"
"I'm freezing my royal Rastafarian nay-nays off!"
"Our Father, who art in Calgary, Bobsled be thy name. Thy kingdom come, gold medals won, on Earth as it is in Turn Seven. With Liberty and Justice for Jamaica and Haile Selassie. Amen."
"You want to kiss my egg?" "I'm not kissing your egg!" "Suit yourself!"
Ahahah.

My brother and I used to watch this movie over and over. Definitely a classic! I've never seen the pin, but it's great!
