I dont know...I know Rapunzels hard to get and all but i cant help but feel like this trade is a little ridiculous....
I wanted:

Pin 80878: DSF - Tangled - Rapunzel and Flynn in Chair

and the ONLY trade he'd do it for is

Pin 70360: Jumbo Carl's House
Pin 69825: Cast Member - Opening Day 2009 UP
Pin 77069: Disneystore.com - Stained Glass Up Pin

all of these on eBay go for around 100 each except for the CM one which varies from $40-160 I feel like Its a fair trade for the Carl's House with Balloons pin for it goes for around $175 on eBay and a tangled marquee sold for $125 a month ago...am i wrong to think this trade is unfair? Is this just the price I have to pay for the rest of my tangled pins I need?? /:

He's asking for the DSF Carl's House pin which has sold around $62-ish the last couple of times on eBay. I think you were confusing it with the Jumbo Carl's House pin you have up for auction.

Anyway this trade is not the path you want to be going on if you're trying to complete your Tangled collection as you would be spending 2 to 3-fold the amount of money that you would possibly be able to purchase the Flynn/Rapunzel DSF Chair pin for. If you're absolutely desperate then no price is too high, but front a realistic POV, if you try to complete this trade you would be getting [insert any harmful verb here]!
 
Yeahm way lopsided in the other person's favor.

I mean if it means that much to you fine, but it doesn't sound like you would be comfortable with it. I know I would not be. :-(

Maybe they seen your post about the Designer princess set for the ONE pin and figured they can screw you over seeing how desperate you seem to complete your tangled pins. But, yes this is very lopsided in their favor.
 
Oh my bad!! He was asking for the Up pin I have for auction. Not the first pin! its actually :Pin 70360: Jumbo Carl's House which actually makes it even worse

and thats cuz the reveal/conceal pin is very very hard to get, which yeah this pin is hard to get too but i could probably get 10 before getting a rapunzel chaser

Yeah this trade is very lopsided. Even though tangled is at its peak, "UP" pins in general have been on the rise these past few months as you mentioned in your 1st post with the prices you mentioned. At times it more cost efficient to just buy them when they do appear, and patience is virtue. Good luck on your quest.

If I were you and I collect UP and Rapunzel I would take it in a heartbreak!!! Have the trade done threw a Moderator and you pay for the extra shipping. You are not actually trading a lot for the pin. Yes it will be hard to replace the 3 your giving UP :p but you have to give to get. Only 5 are trading and if you do this then 4 left. This will be your only chance to get it? Unless someone puts it on eBay and I won't even tell you that you will not afford it then.

If I am wrong, correct me with proof of these pins actually selling for more.

I know for a fact there are quite a few others trading it that do not have it listed on pinpics but are on the forums :/ People seem to like to have great traders to offer up only when there are few people trading... Or they take the best traders off due to lopsided requests being frequently made. My opinion is to be patient and your pin will come at a fair trade or price. <3 I have learned this the hard way in pin trading. I too am a I NEED IT NOW type of personality and have WAY over traded for pins only to get offered that same pin as an easy trade later on down the line.... Just My 2 Cents <3 <3 <3 It all depends on how comfortable you are trading away what you are trading away. and that Jumbo Carls House is My UP Grail at the moment so Idk, It is all depending on you! <3

I perfectly know that about 80% (don't argue about the %, its a guesstimate) of the Members Wanting: only list that they want it and have no pins that that they would/could ever trade for it and of those 80% maybe 10% would pay the market rate price? Rapunzel is a Hotter pin than UP at the moment because of the PODM but IF a PODM UP is released then UP will be the HOT pin for the moment. The other 20% most likely do not have the pins that the member wants from their list and most that i have emailed are looking to trade only for the other Rapunzel pins they are missing.

? From having 0 traders to having 3 prior to the Auction then 3 Marquees popped up on eBay and currently 2 are trading it. Yes all people do not list it on Pinpics for certain reasons but if you take this as an example, yes its an LE 150 and the Rapunzel is an LE 300 then maybe the actual pins not on Pinpics are about 8-10?

As I stated, if it were me, I would make the trade. Obviously, one is willing to give up the UP pins and shows that it is not their core collection and in todays pin trading/buying, once a pin goes to [TABLE="width: 100%"]

"Was" valued and sold on ebay about a year ago at $150 but America opened up and all the foreigners ran to the hills and rivers for gold. Its value is about $400 but take into account that only 5 people bided on the pin for the prices above $200. I personally value it at $200 and will trade at that amount!

You'll never know until its on ebay but I would think the same type of people would bid and buy the pin making it out of reach for the rest of us?

I will gladly trade with you. I have plenty of Grail type pins to trade it for. PLEASE PM me to work something out.
 
Yes but what you guys don't understand is I don't collect UP! i was going to buy these pins to get the chair pin. Too expensive!!! I already purchased the house one, but the rest I do not have. I gave up my entire collection to get my tangled pins back, how much more do I have to take?/:
 
I think that that is too unbalanced for the DSF chair pin. Maybe for the Reveal/ Conceal but DEFINITELY not this. I would just be patient although I know how desperate you are to finish your tangled collection. You could get a lot of other things with these 3 up pins!!
