Did anyone that waited in the second chance line at the DSF get any of the Brave Pins or the Jessica surprise pin?
 
I was #155 and was able to get the 2x 3 bears and 2x stained glass. #153 was able to get the last Merinda riding the horse. There were no Marquees or surprise pins past #150 (though Ed joked that 2 traders weren't going to get the surprise pin but Patty talked them into it - probably would of kept that to myself, since we were soo tired and missing out and would of loved to score a surprise pin in losing out on the marquee). I think the stained glass lasted to around #158ish.

Stained glass lasted to #157. How do I know? I got the very last ones haha. Craziness!
 
DSF staff I think pulled one over on people. I know for a fact 3 people did not buy the Jessica but after #150 staff said they were sold out. A group of people with Wristbands 128-132(ish) only bought 1 Jessica out of the 4 of them.

unless they set aside the returned defective Jessica pins - unlike the Brave pins which were put back in the boxes to be handed out to the unlucky ones (including me) at the end of the line - at least there weren't any scratches or bubbles on my marquee pins - just a few gold spurs (like small tree branches) around the Brave wording - didn't really matter to me because they were going into my personal collection and the collection of the friend getting the second set - I even gave her the better looking marquee of the two.

Must be some kind of conspiracy. Maybe they too, like us, are felons and cheats. Seems to me you are here again with your big old spoon "stirring the pot". I don't believe for a minute they "pulled a fast one ". I am sure like always you don't have all the facts. I disagree, like always, with you and I would like to thank the DSF staff for an amazing event.

I was #153. For a fact,! When it was my turn to buy my pin, I only bought the three bears. There were only bears and stained glass pins left. There were no Marquees or Surprise pins after 150.

I know 2 people returned their pins due to 1 with Jessica upside down and 1 that had bad color error. These pins are taken out of circulation and pit into their vault. Normally they get thrown back into the box. Since it was a 150, maybe they guaranteed that the 150 was sure to get them. If the pins were ok, then maybe 151 and 152 would have gotten a chance?

DSF gets 6 extras per release to replace defects. Straight from Ed...

One the wristbands of the 150 were handed out guaranteed them the LE 150 and 2 each of the LE 300, anyone 151 and above gets a chance at whatever is not bought. tough since your taking a change in this release to spend all night and not get anything.

correct, but if the the 6-10 proof pins that have NO marking stating that they are proofs are never released to the public. Per Ed and Patty.

Although Pinpics states AP's for DSF, there has never been AP's or PP's. There has been "proof" pins sent to DSF that have blank backs but those are in the DSF vault and never released and very few general public has seen them.

The extras aren't released, but if one of the originals so bad it can't be sold they will replace one of the extra six with that. They have to maintain edition size. If they didnt swap the Jessicas would be less than LE150, more like LE147.
