(This is just me venting somewhat how I've come to this saddening crossroad with my Stitch pins)

Alright, well after much thought and debate with myself...

I'm getting rid of my STITCH INVASION collection (minus a few pins) to allow me to not spend as much on pins and to focus more on collecting Wall-E, Up, Incredibles and (keeping up with) Brave.

So in the upcoming days, I will have a sales/trading thread (with decent pricing) for majority of my Stitch pins while saving a few for trade auctions.

It'll be very saddening when it's all said and done, but as Walt Disney would say:

"We don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."

I don't think its a "sales thread". I think the owner is just posting about having to part with something he collected to get harder pins he wants.

I am not selling/trading/auctioning anything with this post. I just posted I will be departing with my Stitch pins and will eventually have a thread for when the time has come. Under the forum for Pin Discussion it says "discuss anything pin-related here." This is pin related so I figured it wouldn't hurt to make an announcement here.

I'm in the same situation as you. My wife and I are going through all our pins and trying to eliminate about 1/2 or more of our collection through trading or selling. I just recently gutted my Pin Trading Pins set. My trades went from 3 pages to 6.
 
I just keep looking at the pins I'd need to continue my Stitch craze but they're just too expensive and difficult to get. Like I said, I'm going to keep a few that I just can't let go, but the rest will be used to help me out with the other pins I'm looking for that aren't so difficult to get as long as I have ammo in the form of pins or money! Haha
 
Be sure to let me know! I am sorrythat you have to give up your collection I'm sure you'll make room for tons of great pins :)
 
I too have traded or sold my stitch invasion collection but somehow I end up going back to it. I've just gotten now to the point where I'm just being VERY picky about my Stitch pins and I'm sure you'll end up doing the same.
