When does Disney remove Christmas pins from their shelves?

Hello. I am going to Disney World with my family for the last time January 1-8 and was wondering if there would still be Christmas pins out. I noticed when I was at WDW in March this year they removed the St. Patrick's Day pins two days after the holiday.

I know there's still Father's day pins being sold right now - so take it for what it's worth.

Some years the pins have remained in the stores through mid-January.

One year they were removed before New Years! Boy, did that cause a big stink! I think this happened only once - about three years ago.

Most of the time the pins go from the parks to the outlet stores, so you have a good chance of picking up some at the outlets in January.

I thought there was always a mickey snowman with silver glitter and red/green scarf? Sort of Vinylmation looking. I'm pretty sure that it is on sale all year round. They used to have an all year round christmas store in New Orleans square but it is closed at the moment.

I think that was my first year back there since 2000. They had the New Year's Day pin at half off 4 days before New Year's, LOL

To the OP, I might be able to help out if you did not want to risk missing out. I will be going Nov 7th-13th, AND doing 2 MVMCPs (Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party). I was going to start a thread about picking up pins for people in October, once we knew what was going to be out.

The Christmas pins usually go to 50% off around mid Christmas. So, by January many pins are sold out. My annual trip is around December 10 and the gingerbread house pins are my favorite Disney collections. Often, one of the resorts' gingerbread house pins will be sold out.

FYI - The Osbourne Lights LE pins are only sold from special popup stores during the evenings in the Backlot area of DHS. The MVMCP LE pins are only sold during the evenings at the MK.

Does the same rules apply for the Halloween pins? I am going November 3rd, and wondering if they will still have Halloween pins. My guess is there will be Christmas pins out, right?

There is a Not So Scary Halloween Party on 11/2 so there is a good chance that the Halloween pins will still be available at WDW on 11/3.

Don't count on the outlet stores near WDW any more. They revamped their pin area and now just a few select pins are on a stand alone spinner. That's it. No more wall of pins. I don't know where the left over pins have gone, but they aren't going there. I think they only LE I saw was a flower and garden last week. I have talked to a bunch of CMs there and they said they just aren't getting the pins like they used to. This has been happening since May of this year.
