argh I just knew it. And for the frick sake at the price on ebay.. $200 for that 1 BT.. none of the others reach that amount and there years old. for shame on pin traders for scalping this pin. Ill get stick for complaining but that price increase is a little to extreme!

I was so happy because I found a great DPF member who was so kind to trade me the DSF beloved tales for my collection, she has been wonderful and now I find out this pin is released, and going for that much already! It makes me sick!
i will not pay that.
Just going to drive me nuts but, I will not pay that kind of money for it, even if I never complete my set!
I would trade nicely for it though. I hope no one pays that price, if they do they will be setting the standard price for everyone else.

I know. I know people expect a price increase on popular pins but the BT pin is a little bit far fetched but then its sold for that so goes anyones chances of the price dropping.

It's not eBay's fault though. I appreciate having the option to buy something that is impossible for me to go try buy myself. I'm appalled at the greedy people who have no conscience and ruin this hobby for the sake of money. I like that we have the ability to choose what we want to buy and what we want to pay. Don't want to lose free enterprise, but people are greedy, it would be so cool if someone said, I won't buy it because I don't collect that and let someone else who does collect it. But with human nature being what it is, that will never happen.

I have a scar Lk PODM that I would gladly trade for some of those DSF pins that were released today.

Please, let's not buy that DSF up pin for those crazy prices, we the consumer have the ability to drive the prices down!

Oh, what a deal. I will just snag that right up. And then I guess just not pay my first month of rent when I get back to the US. I am all about good first impressions. (I am horrified right now at ebay... HORRIFIED.)

Oh, probably more than a few, but I'm less concerned about the members that will sell them for that much than I am about the ones that will buy them at that price.

I would not know if they are bought by DPF members, but there are 2 BT Up sales already. One for $180 and one for $200. It is also possible that those are "schill sales" to fan the flames.

All I can say about the UP Beloved Tales pin, is that is amazing and soon to be up on...

The Goofy Auction...!!!

I am hoping to break the current DPF Auction House Record for most views on a single auction... LOL... WooHoo

On our way home from event then I will post it...

Good Luck All...

Ok, so this is my DON'T PANIC post.

Yesterday, rubyslippergoddess posted a thread about getting a grail. And I'm sure like many others, once we saw the pin, we dashed over to Ebay, searched completed and saw how much it sold for. DA 100 Alice pin, less than $75. There are 3 times as many Up Beloved Tales pins, and Alice is a pretty popular theme too. Plus, many of these pins are going into the hands of someone who DOESN'T want it. They just want to sell it.

Now, I'm not saying it's going to be an easy one to track down, or can be quickly obtained without cash. Just give it time.
