what is the worst pin release you've ever been too.

I was about 18 at the height of the beanie baby craze and worked at a party supply store that carried beanie babies. Fifty year old women would line up in front of the store the day before a release and act like animals. I once saw one woman literally claw another woman's face, and then push her out of the way.

If I have to claw someone to get a pin, it's not worth it. Just saying...

What about Beanie Babies? Anyone stand in those insane lines? I sure did. Pretty scary.

And worst pin release for me was DSF Jessica Decade series part 1 because it was super hot out & standing in the sun was no fun, plus I made a trade in line I've regretted ever since I did it. Oh well!

Well, I'm newer in these parts but I saw this post on SBW release day. I'd say the worst for me was the DSF Brave pins. My husband and I got a room in Los Angeles, we were planning to see Brave at El Cap on opening day. I've never really bothered or looked into DSF pins in the past so that was my first venture into pin collecting there. I remember that we left the hotel room around 8:00 pm on Thursday and saw the MASSIVE line of people already camped out for it. I was so crushed and heartbroken because my husband wasn't willing to sleep on the street when we had a perfectly good hotel room. It was my first and only visit to the El Cap and so I had wanted a Brave marquee pin to remember the occasion. I also had two friends who wanted the Merida on Angus pin and the bear cub triplets pin. Wound up shelling out the dough on Ebay at a later date when the prices dropped some (but I wasn't happy about it) because I really wanted that pin. I consider it a lesson learned
