Didn't win a pin

Feeling a bit low, was bidding on a pin set that I thought I would win. It was up for a week, seller wouldn't let me buy it now. No bids until ten mins to go...that was at a low starting bid. So my bid went in and was outbid. Because I have someone bidding on my behalf he didn't get the message in time, so it sold for a few pounds more than my top bid

Its weird, right at the last minute 7 bids were made. Oh well hope there will be another just was so convinced I would win it. Moral of the story never count your chickens too early lol!

On a brighter note, I did purchase this pin 87262

Sorry to hear that! I totally get it though - Ive done the same thing - seen a pin with 7 days to go, checked it each day for progress, and then in the last few minutes lost it. Its like I've tended it all week like a baby, so its mine before Ive won it!

Congrats on the purchase - that was a rare find - I hope it makes up for the other disappointment!

Mainly I'm looking for Mulan to supplement my collection. Sis says "another Belle pin iin her yellow dress?" a lot so we look for Belles in non-yellow dresses

She seems to get popular for the pins I'm bidding on! LOL

lol hope you didn't outbid me I know well I normally get my guy to place the bid 1min before the auction closes but this time I accidently checked 6mins ~ that is probably why - he put the bid in too early and then after that the person who won it put a bid in after that with like 5mins to go.

I hate when that happens! I'm still burning up over losing auctions on two of my most wanted pins last month! It happens to the best of us! I hope yours comes up again soon or that some nice person on DPF is willing to trade with you or sell it to you!
