Tips for trading on PinPics

I have no luck trading on PinPics. Most of the time I get no response when I send out trade requests and the only incoming trade requests I get are to trade 1 hidden mickey pin for another which I personally don't think it is worth the cost of shipping. Do you have any trading tips for pinpics?

It is definitely hit or miss. I am curious if pinpics has something that automatically turns off trade assistant if the user does not log in after a certain amount of time. Sometimes I wonder if my trade requests are just DOA because the person isn't active anymore. I am finding you basically have to take shots in the dark and see if you get any hits, which is tough when you are trying to trade for a pin that not too many people are offering.

I've gotten a couple trade requests... none went through. Mainly hidden mickey for a hidden mickey. :/ I've never gotten a reply for a trade that I've sent.

I will write up a new "how to guide" for the pin pics trade assistant. I had one before but it accidently got deleted... Will work it up for everyone tonight. I have a method that gives you about a 45-50% response rate. mostly positive.

I've had one successful trade by doing this. We ended up trading 4 pins each.

2 successful trades so far but feel like it's VERY hit or miss. Most people reply with "no thanks" even if my offer is a very good one. Just gotta keep trying.

Back in the day, you had a few ignored requests but most people had the courtesy to reply back "no thanks" if they weren't interested. These days it seems that even with comments in the request and really decent offers, there are just so many people who do not answer their TA's.

I know pin pics is supposed to be reinventing itself at some point. It would be great if they make everyone re-confirm their account name. That would help weed-out all the people that are not trading anymore and correct all the want/trade ratios to reflect what they truly are.
