BATB PODM // What's your biggest worry? How much would you spend on your grail scene?

So I've heard lots of people talking about what they want from BatB. My GF? Library, Bookstore, Fountain with Book, Wolves attack Belle, Belle with Phillipe, Belle and Transformed beast. Needless to say, we will be in line for 4.

I've heard people wanting Gaston scenes with Belle, and a few others. The one everyone was thinking would be a lot of peoples grails, them in the Ballroom, seems to be LEAST popular.

How do you find out what scenes are available? Do you just hope for a good scene? I would love to go to D and get a BATB PODM!!!

When the pins are released. Since WDW comes out 1 day earlier, you can check ebay for pictures.

For the Mulan scenes above, I traded for (months in advance just as soon as the release was announced). Some bought on ebay. And, I just saw that the sword scene (#6) only sold for $46 postage paid this morning. UGH. I totally forgot about it (had bid on it) but was driving to work when it ended. UGH!

Aww.. yea I had a sword scene but traded it away. I'm assuming you guys collect all PODMs then? Or just certain series?

my biggest worry is that i will faint bc i will be on the pin diet(red bulls, no sleep, high levels of anxiety).POM are sexy and worth waiting in line for.they are masterpieces.

I completely agree with you! I love PODMs They're so stunning~ but gah O_O Will this be your first PODM release that you're going to? Good luck since it'll probably be CRAZY!!!

I am going and hoping to get one for me and one for my pin trading friend, my son will want one so he can trade to get something he really wants (pirates/HM) and one for me to trade to hopefully hang onto to to trade for one form the Dec release. But my biggest worry being number 251 and not getting a bracelet, lol But im not too worried I have a friend going to get me one just in case I am not in time to get a bracelet.

Well.. my personal grail scene would have to be the Ballroom scene. Though any good scenes with Belle and the Beast is fine with me.

You don't. You basically have to wait. The only way is in the photo that they release but that's not definite. Good luck getting one Are you going to Disneyland for the BatB PODM release?

I am going and hoping to get one for me and one for my pin trading friend, my son will want one so he can trade to get something he really wants (pirates/HM) and one for me to trade to hopefully hang onto to to trade for one form the Dec release. I would think that the BatB PODM is more popular than the Pluto's Christmas Tree Dec PODM. If you get a good scene, maybe you can trade it for one of your grails instead

Awwwwww... I'm sure you'll get a bracelet if you're there soon enough and it's not a nightmare x.x That's good that you have a backup plan at least!

I can not go so I have to rely on DPF to get one. I would love to find one with Belle in blue and any other character or even a book! I wouldn't mind a ballroom scene with the Beast either. Would someone want to pre-trade for one? (money is tight but if you are willing to trade I am willing to pull from my collection if need be) My PinPics collection is way out of date collection wise so don't go by that. If you are willing I can let you know what I have.

Newbie here and this is going to sound really dumb since I'm sure I know the answer, but if I'll be at WDW the day after this release, I basically have no chance at all of getting in on this? BatB is probably my favorite Disney movie and this seems like the coolest pin possible and is pretty much the first pin I've had the desire to buy, but I'm guessing this is going to insta-sellout right? Bleh, had this vacation planned for 6+ months and off by a day

head to DTD for the artist signing. They save a few for that specific reason (the artist signing). Mahrii mentioned it happens from 5 to 7 pm so I don't know if DTD would sell them before (or save them until 1 hour before the artist signing.)

I can't count. Off by 2 days. Arrive the Saturday morning after Thanksgiving. I'm guessing from that answer there's no way though. It says LE 2000. Is that broken up between DLR and WDW? I really have no idea how this all works except everyone in this thread expects it to be a madhouse.

I plan on going to the DLR release but have a question. This is my first podm release so I wanted to know do people line up early even when it says not to on the site? I'm used to camping out thanks to DSF but wanted to know what the best method would be to go about this release?

I've personally never gone to a release but I think generally people try to line up early even if they say like no lining up before 6am or something. I'm not sure about this month's PODM since wristbands are now distributed so now you're lining up to get a wristband.. then come back at the time to get the pin which you want/need to line up for for scene selections.

Of the three locations to buy one is pin traders which is in dtd so why would i have to have park admission? Im hoping to get at least one of these to trade for my grail The Alice PODM. I only collect alice so I really want that PODM! Also it says no one to line up before 6 am but do you know from past experience if people will? Thanks!

Because there's only one non-park place (Pin Traders in DTD) that sells the pin. If Disney didn't put that in there, people would say, we want into DL or DCA and we don't have to pay for admission because your listing doesn't say we do.

Although I heard from someone else once that they rented a room at a resort JUST so they could buy pins before the park opened on a day some pretty limited popular pins were being released....they made the people in the park that were there early get into line before the park opened...and while they were standing there they roped off another area for another line....then the park opened and the "regular" non extra magic hour people lined up...and they took the regular admission people first and by the time they let the extra magic people in....they were sold out! Where is the Disney magic!!??

We as a family have officially decided to skip this PODM release. DLR wristbands for a black friday pin release. Just not what our little girls need. Hubby doesnt need to be camped out overnight at DTD parkinglot thanksgiving night for a pin niether of us collect.

My only regret for that choice... What if I could get my hands on a frame with phillippe the horse? Then it could be in my horse collection.

AND of course the BatB PODM's are gonna be fabulous traders.

Nope. Just Tangled (because we were at WDW for the release and bought about 12 between the 2 of us [should have been 3 but sis was sick] and I only kept 2), Mulan (my primary collection and I have 9 right now) and now BatB (for sis).

Well, all the past PODMs have had one DTD location sell it. They decreased the number of places available (used to be Pin Traders and World of Disney) and multiple locations inside DL. So, I think it is merely a disclaimer.
