Disneyland: Urgent, Advice Needed Quickly
I think that is the point of DCA. Build rides for people who aren't tall enough to do HM, Pirates and other big rides. They tossed in ToT, Screaming, and Soarin in for the adults so they have something.

Aw... I like DCA. But I also have 2 little kids. Flicks fun faire, Airles undersea adventure, king tritons carousel and the big wheel are my 4 yr olds favorites.

haha! My 4 yr old enjoys pirates! Puts her hands in the air for the drops at the beginning. she gets scared in the stretch room of HM, but handles the rest of the ride fine. She is just to small for the "big kid rides" like Matterhorn and BTMRR, and space mountain. She is very eager to be tall enough for them and eats her food "so she can grow big enough for the big kid rides." lol

Met charles at the hotel Thursday night to hang out, do some trades and provide some pointers... VERY NICE folks!

If you do go to DCA, get there early, get in line for Radiator Springs Racers fast passes FIRST THING. The lines for fast passes would stretch halfway across the park within 15 mins of opening. We got our passes 45 mins after park opening with a ride time after 5 PM! If you don't have a fast pass lines are 2-1/2 hours at all times. This was during a slow time in October. Good Luck!

P.S. personally, I'd always choose a day in Disneyland over DCA.

We had a great time! I'll write more when I am home in front of a computer. Many thanks!

So we had one day at DLR and spent all of the time in Disneyland. It was almost a surreal experience. Very similar to MK but on such a smaller scale. Most things were pretty similar. The highlight was definitely with Haunted Mansion which was simply over the top with the Christmas decor and the NBC theme. We did HM twice and loved it both times. We ended our day by trading outside Little Green Men for a couple of hours. We met several nice folks there and made some nice trades.

We also got to meet Tom and his wife the night before. We met at our hotel and had a nice time trading though our time was short. Not sure if I will ever get out to DLR again but it was really fun and we absolutely enjoyed our time there.
