DSF Peter Pan Release Update
I'd like to add myself to the list of people hoping for extras. I would love a Marquee, of course :lol:, and the Hook with Tink Reel Characters pins. I am happy to pay for them, or trade. So, if anyone is going, and and could help me out, please let me know. :D. Thanks!!

Ok I'm really sorry if I burst anyone's bubble but they're hideous! This is without a doubt the worst marquee they've made, the lost boys look like they should be working for the Joker. The hinged pins look kind of bad because they look like they're made of plastic. If I didnt need the marquee I would've gladly skipped the release
 
Agree Nathan95, I prefer the Window pin that's coming out later Jan. and hope there's an awesome pin set for the 60th like Snow White!

But the glitter feature on the marquee is nice, eh? :)

I simply don't want these pins because of the price! $14.95 a piece?

I'll get the marquee because that's what we do, but I collect Tinker Bell and I'm not sure I'll get all those hinged pins. Maybe the one with Hook & Tink and the one with Pan. They do look like shiny plastic with a sticker glued on it. Kinda lame for a $15 pin with no AP discount.
 
I doubt the pins themselves are plastic, they've never made plastic ones before that I know of... I think he was just talking about a clear plastic-coated sticker in the pin... I'm sure the vault door, mickey shape and Tink are all metal. For $15, they had better be metal...

If anyone still wants a set of the vaults at cost, I'm going to make an attempt for them in the morning (but no early camping, so can't promise anything, but I doubt they will sell out very fast.)
 
The only one I liked was the Lost Boys Marquee but in person I really disliked it.
Im glad that I will be sleeping in now. I think I'm still out of it, that Rapunzel PTD ruined my sleep cycle.
 
They are definitely all metal, just very chromed... And Tink is a typical pin-style element. Here's a closer shot of one:

And for those that have never been to the DSF, here's why they chose this design:
This giant 'vault' is mounted above the checkout area... :) Not sure if Disney has those in other stores or not...

(Stitch is still PTD... Quantities dwindling, but expected to last the week.)
 
It's really windy and really cold down here right now (DSF area), I wouldn't recommend a pre-dawn arrival unless you _really_ want these pins...

Bring plenty to bundle up in...
 
Thank you ever so much for taking these pictures and sharing them with us. I was getting discouraged, after reading the thread replies, prior to yours. Now, I feel better. I will be going down tomorrow. I am looking forward to it.
