Apparently there is a Red Carpet event this evening so DSF is requesting that the alley be kept clear until after 11pm

[/h][h=5]Pin Release Update: Due to a special event, if you planned on lining up today for the release, you will not be allowed to until after 1am. The line area will be closed to the public. Also, benches have been removed from the area for the event, and will not return until tomorrow afternoon. We apologize for the late notice.

DSF is pretty tight-lipped about surprise releases. We won't know until tomorrow morning. I'm personally hoping for a surprise to add to my Peter Pan collection.
 
This is a long shot since we don't know, but if by any chance, there's a Wendy or Tink surprise release, would anyone be willing to pick me up one and I can pay for it? The vaults just aren't doing it for me :/
 
Have they ever done a surprise release pin NOT related to the other pins being released that day? I ask because Frankenweenie just came out on Blu Ray/DVD on Tuesday, so could that be a potential surprise one?
 
Avengers didn't have a surprise pin. Can we please not hype every freaking DSF release as having a surprise pin? Geez. They have 4 themed pins for the movie, they are all the same shape. We know for a fact there is at least one surprise pin for the trading event later this month. We aren't close to any holidays other than MLK which they've never done a pin for. I say no surprise. Just ok hinged pins. And a marquee that is a bit offensive to the eyes. Anyone planning an overnight stay in this blustery weather is just insane.

Frankenweenie pins didn't sell so hot and the movie was kind of a dud so I doubt it. Also, they haven't been doing DVD release pins for a while. The last one was in November of 2011 for the Lion King and even most of those old ones were for pre-orders.
