[I'm sorry if there's already a thread about this, but I'm nearly sure there isn't]

I was browsing the Disney Store UK website when I came across this. The Monsters Inc pin that's meant to be released on Thursday is already up, and you're able to place it into your basket. Not actually sure if it'll process your order but I'm just curious as to if this is a problem with the website or if it's meant to be up.

Just thought that I'd give a heads up to anyone looking for this pin.
 
Strange, it's still showing up for me. On the 'featured pins' it's number 47. And I can still add it to my basket.

I have already purchased as it seems like it has been up all day and as it is a slightly lower LE and still a day to go before its proper release not sure it will last till its official release?
 
Well I bought mine. Only 350 and with it now being put on forums, I think it could go quickly.also there does not seem to be a 2 per order limit.I got 3.

I noticed that as well. Is it not usually two pins per customer? Perhaps it's another glitch?

Yes it's normally two per order. Wreck it Ralph and Chip and Dale are still a maximum of 2 so I think it's a glitch. Surprised it's still up there though. LE 300. Presumably it's supposed to be ready to go live on Thursday and someone's messed up! They must know about it by now but haven't done anything. :eek2:
 
Well I have a "thank you for your order" email from the Disney store. I assume that means I will get my order. For the chip and dale Christmas pin, I mistakenly ordered 3, and got them !

Oooh maybe I should mistakenly order a few more. Actually, no Chip and Dale were not restricted to 2. I remember thinking that was odd at the time. Wreck-it Ralph is restricted though. I've received my order confirmation. Just need to see if we get them now!

Did you order 2 or more ? if it was more did it go through ok ?
 
Monsters inc Now sold out or not appearing on pins available ! new pin announced as Frankenweeniwe 31 January ( or maybe earlier !!!!!! )
 
Wow that release was really mucked up not even the day of its release yet, glad I ordered a pin just in case :) will be interesting what happens for the next pin release!

I do hope this doesn't become some kind of regular thing, it's rather misleading and unfair for people who really wanted the pin but wasn't aware of its early release.

UK DS are not great pin wise. We have had problems before with reduced orders because they accepted too many orders, then putting on pins at various times up to 4pm on release days, and the chip and dale went on just after midnight on release day so they do not surprise me anymore !

It is unfortunate for those that did not get it but it was posted on different forums as soon as it was available, some people said they would wait for half price postage so took a risk, and if they missed out, they can only blame themselves. tough I know but that is life!

I'm guessing that the pin didn't sell out, but that they noticed their mistake and took it off the site until this morning. Hopefully it won't happen again
