I'm pretty new to the world of trading.... I missed the Cruella broken mirror pin (have all the others that have been released since). Where is a good place to trade? I can't find them on ebay (not that one at least). I have extras of Chernabog and Jafar.
 
Cruella will prob be the hardest to get due to how it was released... It's the only one (I think) I dont have extras off to trade (baring the full set we'll have at the event to trade as one)but I dont know if itll be easier or harder to track down sooner than later (if people loose interest in the set prior to the event or not)

How was that one released? I will keep trying....maybe I will get lucky and people will lose some interest later and I can get it. I really need to be more on top of these things lol. My poor husband has gone over every month in the morning to get me these pins (I always have to work) and he's going to be awfully disappointed!
 
Cruella 13 was released this past September at the yearly pin trading event. You have to pay admission to get into the event, and it spams for 3 days. That's why people are pricing this pin at ridiculous prices. The completer pin of the set will be released at this year's 13 Villains event, again to be held in September. I am a local and based on my personal experience, it was easy for me to trade for that Cruella pin. There are tons of WDW traders willing to trade that pin and won't want an arm and leg for it. I traded a DSF snowglobe pin for that cruella, and I was happy with the trade.

Are you a local? If you are, keep a lookout for the next WDW PTN night. That is your best bet for getting a hold of that pin.

We are local....so just look for the next pin night and try and trade for it then? Thanks, I'll try that! We've never been, I keep thinking we have such an itty bitty collection, we don't have enough to bother all these folks with! Maybe we will just go for fun to look around, hopefully I'll get lucky!
 
You can try and post a wanted ad here at the forum and see if someone will bite, but i've seen cruelle 13 on a ton of trading books when I was at the Fantasyland pins release. And of course I walked up to the first one and it was rather an easy trade, no haggling. Stock up on DSF and DLRP pins and good traders, you will have better luck trading that way...

There are plenty of abbreviations that arent listed like
DSF: Disney Soda Fountain: Located in Hollywood, CA right next to the El Capitan theatre. They have new releases several times a month, usually really low edition size, such as LE 500, LE 300 etc. They show scheduled releases in advance, and occaisonally they will have a surprise pin along with those releases!

DLRP: Disneyland Resort Paris: These are some good pins to use as traders if you can get your hands on them. They are harder for US traders to get so you can make some pretty good trades with them!
