Hey guys last night i won a bid of the complete set of the Disney Pin Hidden Mickey Alphabet and was just wondering do any of you have this set but also was thinking of putting my innitials on my lanyard and have them not for trade do you think this is a good idea or not ?

1. Did you win it on ebay?
2. Is it the 2011 Hidden Mickey alphabet series from DLR? Where A is Alice, B is Baloo, C is Cheshire, etc.? Did you know that these have been scrapped?
3. I collected my initials but I don't put them on my lanyard.

If you have enough of the letters, spell your name ;)
I heard that these were heavily scrapped.... I have the S, Simba, but I didnt want to try for the others. It would be cool to have the whole set though. I hope they do more of these, maybe with glitter XD

Scrapped means they are, hate to say it, fake. Usually hidden Mickey pins are scrapped and then traded in the parks, so lots of people end up with fake pins. You can tell sometimes by the colours, the smoothness of the pin, the markings on the back. You can find out lots about scrapped pins on this forum, and if you go to pinpics.com, you can look up pins and find out the "scrap" rate. Ebay is a prime place to buy big lots of pins (usually hidden Mickeys) Hopefully you got a legit set :) post a ic :)

I have found that to be the toughest set so far to complete with authentics. Just down to finding an authentic Y. I sincerely hope you were are to find a set of real ones.
