Does anybody get nervous about international trading?

I just agreed to a pretty massive trade with a trader from Japan with outstanding feedback. In early January I sent a very nice PODM to a trader (also with great feedback) in Japan and they never sent me my pin, which is the JDS 110th Legacy Fantasia pin. Do you ever get concerned that this will happen when you agree to a trade with a trader overseas since you cannot cheaply track the shipment?

I always worry about a pin getting lost in the mail when shipping overseas. I am paranoid and always fear the worst.

Recently had a pin get lost in the mail.i feel awful for person,have tried to replace it
but no one is trading it, it's always a risk to send anything un-recorded ,but it is expensive enough anyway,
i do now always send high end trades tracked, as I can't afford to replace them

I had a pin get lost in the mail with a trader on DPF from Europe. I know she sent it because we have made 5 or 6 trades and never had any issues. I noticed an hour r so ago that the two Japanese traders live in the same apartment building and share a family name. I have asked the trader with whom I am currently trading to ask the other trader what happened.lol He said he would ask so that's nice. They both have excellent feedback so I hope I can get my #7 grail (that's right, I have a list)

These days its become so expensive to send pins to the US that I am now only look at multiple trades yes pins do get lost as well but overall it works
