Why not buy some high end pins for the baby as college fund ?

LOL!

I know it's a joke, but my husband and I have been looking at some of my collection lately (Robin Hood BT is doing WHAT now?!?) and considering selling them for home buying money. All in all, the totals would probably be in the $10,000+

Tough to predict what will happen in 18 years, though. :)

The last time I saw the black pegasus on the cloud up it sold for right around $350.00

Oh wow! I was going to make that pin work for a Fantasia frame I was working on but it would just be way too big. But if that is what it could sell for I would gladly change the frame up. haha

There's only one pin I know of that beats nouveau ariel. As for wife approval, this would be a unilateral and covert purchase for sure.

Are you completely serious? It's hard for me to read sarcasm online. :P What pin beats Ariel?

What pin beats Ariel?

If Ariel Art Nouveau indeed would go for $1000 or so today, I can think of few other pins that would beat it at least price-wise ;)

I remember it selling around $350 almost 2 years ago on Ebay, in fact the seller of my zombie SW sold Ariel Art Nouveau as well.

One more of the same pin sold at the famous Bodnar auction last Ariel (that's where Brittany got me my Aurora Art Nouveau ), but I do not remember what Ariel went for there. I know my upper limit absentee bid was around $320 and I did not win it :(

brave pendant. it's the best pin that exists. You'd need an advanced degree in mathematics to even imagine a number that would be an appropriate offer for that pin. And then you'd probably still get slapped for making that offer.

Gillian, in all the years I've had the blue puzzle piece on my wants list I have NEVER seen it for sale on eBay and I have never seen anyone trading it. So can you PLEASE leave it to me in your will?

I know, I had a hard time pricing it. Don't know if it's off or not.

Are you actually thinking of getting rid of some of these pins hun? If so, why?

Some of them yes, I posted a thread listing all the pins I'm parting with. http://disneypinforum.com/showthread.php?34325-Partial-Collection-for-Sale

I saw Alice puzzle piece only once on Ebay, and it did not even go too high. It was about 1.5 yrs os so ago, and it went for $27 and some change if memory serves me right. I placed a bid, but I low-balled and missed. Oh well ....

The blue puzzle piece pin?! O.o

Oh how I would love to own those two centaurette pins and the unicorns and satyrs dancing..... *le sigh*

I wanted them since I began pin trading! And I was only able to finish tracking down the last two like last year. ;) Don't give up hope.
