2013 Fairytale Designer Collection
yes, last year , even with the cinderella been behind the cashiers, you can ask them to show more set , to pick the one with the perfect hairs dresses, see if there is no flaws. I took a lot of time picking my perfect cinderella

last year, the designer villains were right in the middle of the room, so you didn't even have to ask to look at them and choose the one that if perfect for you

I sincerely hope they have major computer issues or their car breaks down on the day of the sale, then see what they do!

I hope people bidding on those eBay preorders realize that they have absolutely no recourse beyond leaving a bad review if they don't end up getting their order. eBay only gives payer protection for 45 days which will end way before the dolls are available to ship.

I have a ? Did anybody pre order the villians set??did disney take out the money and put the money back inn to your bank after a week. Then when the doll set ship is when full payment is made..I'm really thinking of pre ordering the Couples set..I just need just some info. Thanks

My own experience with last year's Designer Villains doll set pre-order was that they put a "hold" (re: pending charge) on my credit card for the full amount when I made the order, which stayed for a maybe a week, then it went away. But I think they did a couple of periodic "holds" for the full amount a couple more times before the final actual charge/shipping of the product in October. So, to be safe, I would make sure that you use a card that will have the funds available throughout from the time you order until when the order is fulfilled. The last thing you would want is to place a pre-order only to have them cancel it on you from the back end because they do a random "hold" check on you when you do not have the available funds. My experience was with a credit card, so I have no idea what they do with paypal or debit cards that do not have a Visa/Mastercard logo on the front of the card.

Can't say I care much for this Snow White , she's the least impressive in the collection in my opinion.....

My problem is her head, it seems more bulbous than the heads they use currently. The newest basic doll head would have made a fine base IMO.

So for whoever got the silver Cinderella... you did have to pre-order the entire set to even have her available to purchase, correct? I'm trying to get someone to get her for me, but don't know whether I need to tell them they have to pre-order the set for me too to get her or not...

I have to ask one question about the "Villains Designer Doll Collection" that was released last year, 2012. Did anyone internationally here pre-order the whole set or buy the whole set at one time, do You remember for how much it did cost for the shipping and handling cost? I would like to know because I live in Sweden and I would like to know how much it will cost for the shipping and handling cost now before I will pre-order the whole Disney Fairytale Designer Doll Collection set.
I e-mailed Disney Store but I did not get a good answer from them, they should know by now for how much it will cost for us who will pre-order the set that lives outside North America...

Hmm, what do you guys think - should I wait to pick up the journals till they're on sale or do you think they won't make it to that stage/price? Near $20 each is a bit steep, but the last thing I want is to miss them.

The Silver Cinderella was a separate release at the 2011 D23 Expo. The Designer Princess pre-sell started on Friday of the 2011 Expo and the Silver Cinderella could be purchased on Saturday at the 2011 Expo. I even got Steve Thompson (Principle Designer) and Sang Pumlee (Designer) to sign the case.

It's quite a risk. I would say go after the journals you want most and then maybe come back for the others if you don't want to get them all at once. Sometimes you may be lucky to come across them again in stores, but you never know.

I'm pretty sure it is the same head as the basic doll head. I think it's the hair that is throwing it off making her face look fatter than it is. To me she just looks like the basic doll with an ugly side braid darker lips, and real eyelashes. Well I prefer her normal hair to this and I can apply lashes if I really wanted to my basic doll so this designer Snow is a big pass for me. I much prefer the previous designer snow where they at least changed her face up significantly.

I did! The extent of my being "international" is just up in Canada, though, but you're still not going to like how much Disney Store was going to charge me for shipping my 6 villain dolls. I don't remember how much the villain set was in total but I believe it was a bit less than the Fairytale set is going to be. The annoying thing with Disney Store's shipping is that they claim their charges are based on the size and weight of the package. I can tell you right now this is a BIG FAT LIE (to test once I put one of their 1carat diamond rings in my cart that cost over $10,000 and proceeded to check out, the shipping and handling cost was something insane like $1,200).

Anyway, for the six villains, to ship JUST up to Canada (just north of the states, so close!) they were going to charge me $139.95. JUST for the shipping. That doesn't include the import fees/duty I'd be hit with once they were delivered by UPS. So I can tell you right now that unless Disney Store offers some kind of deal, which I doubt they will, the cost to ship the Fairytale Collection will be even higher than that to Canada, and higher still overseas to Europe or Australia. I am extremely lucky in that I live close enough to the American border where I can have something shipped to an American address right across the border for free and go there and pick it up, which is what I ended up doing with the villains, but I'm very sad for you guys in Europe and Australia who want to order the whole set. I swear that because Disney Store offers free shipping to US customers all the time that they force international customers to eat those lost shipping costs because there's no way that villains package should have cost $140 just in shipping fees. The box wasn't THAT big or heavy!

If you do still plan to pre-order the whole set just be prepared to pay an outrageous shipping cost!

I never thought of having the set shipped to a US address. Good thinking! I'm in Canada too. There's a depot in buffalo I can ship to and drive there to pick it up. $140? That's more than a set of dolls :(

Does anyone know the retail price of a single mug? Ive never purchased the mugs before so I would like to be financially prepared for the purchase this time.
