Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, or if it has been posted previously.

today I went to the trading tables and they were completely empty! Has disney regulated the tables and not allowed for anymore trading? I heard that some people found it to be an eyesore and started complaining. Or did I just come on a weird day? Usually there's at least one person!

if they're gone I would be so sad!

We doubt it! Vinylmation people got kicked out of DTD (rumor is they were selling or making guests buy them things right outside the store and got caught) so they've been taking up that space as well. You probably came in a weird hour and there is no pin traders? (We've had a few times when no one was there). Just set up and people will come :)!

AND We also find that there is a lot less pin traders than before because a lot of them have taken residence at DSF waiting for the PTD to change instead of being at the park trading.

Now that's funny. I've seen a few camping out in the front window there.

I for one am not happy to see the Vinyl traders at the tables. They take up too much space. The rule is 1 pin bag per person. Not 4 cork boards, 3 books, a pile of scrappers, etc. Disney needs to help us out with either a new place or more tables if the Vinyls keep coming. Also, they should come out and remind a few people of the guidelines.

Thursdays seem to have a lot more pin trading activity ... probably due to pin releases and less AP blockouts. We were there around 11:00am this past Saturday and only saw 2 people trading.

Pin trading really picks up around the mid-to-late afternoon. Right when people get off work and drive and get on the tram, etc. Like 5-9pm is't usually full tables.

I think the other thing is that some people only have certain weekday eveinings free and if we have to keep going to DSF on those free evenings to get the latest 1pp PTD then we can't also go to LGM. If the PTD's were 2pp like they used to be you could buy every other and trade every other at the tables. Now you have to go every time and you have none for trade. I'm sure DSF thinks they are amazing employee's for increasing foot traffic but all it does is add another notch to the "I hate DSF's BS" post.

One or two days a week you will find the trade tables empty during the hottest part of the day.

Kids are getting ready for back to school, folks are doing last minute vacations, D23 is this weekend and traders may be prepping for that....

The tables were there but the traders were not right? If the tables are there, it is not something Disney did. Tables would be gone if Disney had wanted the traders gone.

Good point, didn't think about it that way. I was just suspicious cause I saw a kid sit down at the table and was getting his pins out then when I came back only a few minutes later he was gone and a CM was standing over there staring.

Excuse me?
A conversation I overheard at D23 is all .Probably shouldn't have posted that last part publicly without knowing for sure you were aware of what was being said. I'd rather talk to you in person about this matter.Text gets so left to interpretation and I'm not trying to directly INSULT you just inform but if you wanna pm me that's fine too.
