I suggested to Ed to pull a game-time decision on 1 or 2 sets per person. Like, less than 250 is 2 sets, over 250 is 1 set. Pre-determine the number and just use it for each release. I think the marquee will be there until lunch/afternoon and the others will be there for weeks. We'll see if this new breed of DSF crowd shows up. I doubt we'll see the 526 people from the Pixar event. The only things I can figure to make this release at all popular is A. Marquee B. Pixar. C. Little boys might like the movie and parents want the pins for them. No other reason as the critics panned the movie and the round pins are all too similar to make them interesting enough to collect.

I agree 100%. I think this release is going to go over like a ton of brinks. The marquee will be the only one to sell. The rest will be there like the Blue Fairy Perfume bottle...which I think is still there to this day. No one really knows the characters and the movie is not doing that well as it is. At $12.95 ea I have better pins to spend my money on. I'd rather just buy the PTDs.

Some folks do like the Planes movie ya know. lol

but I do agree, laid back easy release. I dont think it will break 100 people. But i am no expert. The only thing that some people will go for is the chance at a surprise release.

I'm going to get my sleep. I am just going to be there around 7:30 or 8 am. There are still going to be do the wristband/ Random voucher method and I feel it will be a very smooth release.

Why do people even bother camping out for these anymore? being first in line does not guarantee you a set. They should just say... "you show up before ____ AM you will be removed." Like 5am or something. Theres no benefit to camping with this random drawing stuff.

Some people rely on public transportation and perhaps the metro /bus lines they need to take can't get them there by the wristband time if they try for a morning pickup.

which is why this is the PERFECT time for them to do a BT surprise release 0.0 i predict the Wreck-it-Ralph BT!
They already did the August Jessica calendar and an entire Stitch Tiki set. I don't see another one coming soon.

FYI, all those WDI Star Tours pins in your siggy were still for sale at the D23 expo (minus the chasers.)
