What an experience :D. Got there for the BATB, and finally enough people showed up so there was a raffle. Been wanting to be part of one ^^. Finally my first raffle! It was like 15-20 people for 11 dolls. Well there were down to 9 or 10 when bang! my name got called out. OMGosh coolest thing ever. lost count so not sure if I was 10 or 11. When i got to the cash register to look at them and pay, the lady said: okay your the last one. And i'm going uhm but there's one more person behind me who also got called out. So i'm going like oh oh . So not sure what happen if I was actually the last one and/or they called out 12 by accident but they brought another BATB set from the back so I wander if they had some extra ones just in case from the original 11 dolls they said they had. So I'm very happy I have them and don't have to wait and stress for them to arrive :D. Next Ariel and Eric and FINITO! :D Good luck Tonight!

Well, I just woke up, I fell asleep and didn't set an alarm to get up. Looks like Belle/Beast are sold out. Congrats to all that got them ;) I'm ok, I promised myself that I wouldn't get upset and I'm not.....less money I have to spend right? Anyway, when this line first came out, Snow White and Belle, were my least favorite and I have to ask myself, did you TRULY want these two? And the answer is no. My problem is, as a collector, I think, buy it now!!! Don't regret it later!!! And that my friends, is how I end up with so much "stuff!" Does anyone else do that? Anyway, I'm thinking of selling my snow/ prince, original designer snow and designer Aurora....all of which, have been in my closet and not even been looked at lol....:) along with 17 cinderella. I feel like it's time to purge and only keep the things I love:) Ariel, is my favorite childhood princess and I NEVER leave my Little Mermaid stuff in my closet, I think that's telling me something :) now back to bed I go
 
Wow! That was --as predicted-- a speedy sell-out! Guess I’ll be setting my alarm for the 3AM launch of Ariel and Eric on the 16th... :coffee:
 
Oh wow! She sold out? I hope everyone who stayed up to get her got her, and everyone who visited the stores and didn't win the raffle managed to wake up to get them.
 
Yup, I think she's already sold out! I tried to put her in my bag, just to see, but the store said she was "unable to be purchased at this time." I hope everyone who wanted her got her!
 
I was able to buy her right away this morning, but am having trouble with the Disney Store now. I woke up and checked my order and the doll and my order from the 1st all say that they are going to a complete strangers address in a town 6 hours away from me. I called the Disney Store and they said they would put a note through to the shipping department, but that was all that they can do. I am hoping this is a glitch in the computer that hasn't affected my order. She said it was too late to cancel (not that I want to). Has anyone had weird things come up in their order history and had it all turn out fine? Am I completely screwed?
 
Did anyone have trouble ordering theirs last night? My sister stayed up until 3AM, and when it came online the website wouldn't let her add it to her cart. She said she was up exactly at 3AM EST, and could not get it to work. So she ended up not being able to get one at all. :(
 
Any Australians (or New Zealanders) who've ordered the LE dolls before, how much is shipping to you? I'm just worried about getting these dolls home to NZ once I finish my time in America and am wondering if it'd just be better to pay the shipping and get them sent home now :/

Ive had that happen to me before. In my case when I logged out and logged back in it worked! Try that next time.


By the way, all my orders I've ever made are still showing as being the same price in my order history. So something is still glitchy with the web site. Is anyone else's still looking like that?
 
katelouise: I would check the USPS before the first of the year. Their prices are okay right now. I have to mail packages overseas to my sister all the time. I think it is cheaper to mail them yourself then to have the DisneyStore mail them. You can go on the USPS website and get an estimate on how much it will cost to ship and compare to what DisneyStore will charge you. That would probably be the easiest way to go about it.

I told her, and she didn't even think to do that. This is the first time she has gone after any of the Disney dolls, so she assumed it was a glitch or already sold out. Thanks for the advice, I have a feeling she will need it for Ariel/Eric.

I feel awful that I wasn't up to help her though, now she faces the horrible prices of Ebay.

I just checked Ebay to see the avarage price of what Designer Fairytale Belle & Beast are being sold right now and it's ridiculous! Buy it now prices are between $500 and 650. Auctions have a starting price of $200-250 but bidders elevate the price all the way around $350.

Seriously, not even D23 Snow White with a lower edition size has reached prices of $500 or 600. Hopefully everyone stays away from these prices and resellers, they're unbelievable! I can't imagine how much the estimated value of the dolls will increase in the Christmas season :S .
