sooo why did this pin (Pin 74461: Adventures By Disney - Enchanted China Gorges Gumdrops in Guillin Mulan Pin) just sell for $355.00?

is it that hard of a pin?
 
Really.....$355???? WOW... That is crazy! I would never guess it would go for that, it doesn't look like it's any kind of special pin.
 
I never see that pin often. As I try to become a Mulan completist, I find that the Mulan pin set are kinda difficult to obtain. I am a little surprised that the battle for the pin went that high though, but it got that high due to a wage war between three bidders.
 
Because the only way you can get that pin direct from Disney is to take the $7,000-9000 Adventures by Disney trip in China (not including airfare) and that's the per person rate, double occupancy expected.

She went for $102. I got outbid by a few seconds on that pin... :sad:

WOW! I'm not surprised she didn't go for as much, only because she's dressed as a guy in the other one versus a girl in the $300+ one

who knew Mulan would be such a pricey pin?!

BTW, love your siggy! I have a few of the pins you have on your wants list, but not all. I'm still looking for that DA one (with her as Ping & Mushu), the DS one with her & momma, the 10th anniversary one, and the Japan Mall one!

The full set of Adventures by Disney - China, went for around $1,000 when you add them all up.
I really wanted that Crickee! Maybe next time.

I guess so! But like I said, it's either buy it on ebay, find someone who went on the $7-10K Adventures by Disney trip (a similar trip with a different tour company would probably at most cost you $3-4K, including airfare), or go on the ABD trip (which I will do when I win the lottery!)

How much did Crickee go for? I was surprised that the Minnie in Shanghai went for $200, even more than Mulan as Ping!
 
Crickee went for $101.00 . I put in a bid but it wouldn't accept it because it had gone higher before I could push the button. Oh we'll. the other Mulan is up on eBay again for $100 buy it now from the same person
 
Oh wow. I use to own that pin but I traded it away cause I'm super picky with my mulan pins and that one didn't make the cut cause I hated all the writing on it. Didn't realize it was a hard pin. All well. Haha

I would just like to add that in spite of what pinpics says they are very very limited.
If anyone would like the whole set but does not have the time to go, I would like to offer my services and collect them for you as you send me in your place. Sort of like DSF but you pay my way up front ;0) . I'm just sayin.
It's the least I can do.....

If it was an auction, which it sounds like it was, it must be worth that much to someone! :lol: There are some pins out there that if I had the money, I would pay that much for...and others would probably think I was crazy! :rofl: Or more crazy than they think I am already! Ha ha!
