I'm really angry right now, disneystore.com was unable to find the Anna LE doll, they will issue a refund in a few days,
the sad thing is that I actually see the doll at the store, but was so sure that I already have her online, I woke up a 2:30 am on 11/21,
so I didn't buy it, next time I'll buy in the store, even though is a 3 hours trip to the nearest one to my house is the sure way
 
I think the next LE will be another Frozen related LE doll to commemorate the blu ray release. Either that or a muppet related doll for the movie release but I find that less likely.

I doubt they will do a LE doll based on Maleficent unless there is a character that is not based on a live action character like China Doll. Disney has a tendency to release dolls based on certain events and whether or not a dolls release would be suitable for that event based on the characters. In the past this included movie releases, blu-ray releases and short film releases (Tangled Ever After). For 2014 based on what we know so far I would only think LE releases likely around the Frozen Blu-Ray release and the Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition release and something likely for the Big Hero 6 movie release and possibly the Disney Pixar release next year?? But I cannot remember off the top of my head what the 2014 release will be. Is it the one about the Dinosaur? If so then it will be unlikely to get another doll out of that.

I dont see something being likely for the Muppet release and for Maleficent (mainly because they would just do the release during the Sleeping Beauty cartoon blu ray release).
 
When do you think frozen will come out on dvd? Around May or before? A Snow gear Anna would be cool! I too don't see anything being released for the Muppets. But it's going to be a long wait for the Sleeping beauty dolls and I'm impatient:(.
What's big hero six? I keep hearing it mentioned, is it going to be another classic like wreck it Ralph, frozen etc or something else?
 
I would like a coronation dress Elsa. I know what I will do next time. Do 3 orders. One of both dolls together. One of each doll by itself. and then go to the store too....

Not too long ago I saw a picture that was circulating of a Malificent head mold alongside an Ursula head mold and rumor was that they were for the 17" dolls. I wish I could recall from where. Sometimes it is hard to tell the 10" molds from the 17" molds. Of course, who knows!!!

Well Wreck It Ralph came out early November and the blu ray came out Early March therefore we would expect the Frozen blu-ray to come out around late March? Since it came out late November.

Big Hero 6 is the next Disney Animated Studios (from the same creators of Tangled, Frozen, Wreck It Ralph etc) film to be released after Frozen and is expected to be released in November next year. It is also the first Disney animated movie to be based on Marvel characters. In terms on whether or not it will be a classic is another story as it would be highly dependent on how it is received by comic book fans especially since these are actual characters that already have a following so it would depend on how Disney interprets these characters and develops them.
 
I'm actually kind of worried about my replacement Elsa doll at the moment. while tomorrow will be officially a week, I have never had such a long processing time for an order except for maybe DFDC Belle and Beast but that was due to the TLM releases as well. My doll is still processing and has not even had a packing slip printed. Im starting to worry they have sent out the stock they said they had when I called and aren't going to have one to send me.

Am I being neurotic? lol I guess Im still holding onto the original shipment meh

joining the happier discussion though, I really really hope they do a snow gear Anna, that could be beyond beautiful, not that her Coronation gown isn't I actually think It suits her very well, I just think the snow gear could translate very nicely into a LE, I mean her 12' is beautiful!!!!

And then I would also want a Coronation Elsa too. Cuz while its no where near her Snow Queen dress I still really like that dress ESPECIALLy the cape!!!!!

So, update on the dolls. Friend called (hers is set to be delivered Saturday). They told her that they couldn't do anything until after she got the shipment (even though the weight for the dolls is off at 4.90 pounds which means it's only ONE DOLL!!!)

Ugh! This shows the huge disconnect between the service center and the warehouse. Since it seems that without any exceptions, the warehouse requires individual tracking labels and numbers for each 17" LE doll, if an order is saying that 2 dolls in the same order have the same tracking number, that should be a red flag that one of them was actually not sent out. :( They should not have to wait until the delivery attempt to figure that out.

I mean, I get it that the service center and the warehouse have totally separate locations, systems, and almost no methods of communications with each other (which is just weird and inefficient, but that's just the way it is), but there should be some shared insight to how these things are actually sent out so that the service center can actually address our concerns and questions when things like this arise.

It is a pipe dream, but I also wish for a Hans and a Kristoff, Kristoff for obvious reasons and Hans to go with all the other villain dolls.

Oh for sure. To have to wait for through that waiting period for something that you're pretty sure is not going to happen anyway before you can even try to take action is just wonky. I'm surprised that UPS is doing a Saturday delivery for a DS package. At least DS customer service is open 7 days a week, including holidays, apparently (I found that out during my calls the day before Thanksgiving).

It didn't show up on Saturday :P Still with UPS, maybe Monday or Tuesday...yeesh
 
My Elsa turned up today! Only got to have a peak because she's for Christmas, but omg she's so stunning! My first Limited edition! She seems bigger than I expected but the quality compared to the designers is phenomenal. I'm in love with her.
 
Which does everyone think looks the better doll, DDFC Rapunzel or the wedding LE ?
Iv really gotten in to the 17 inch and got my first 3 for Christmas Elsa,Ariel and Cinderella. And after those due to how big they are I only want 3 more, Maleficent and Aurora next year:) but I also want a Rapunzel.

I've been looking at Rapunzels and theirs something about the wedding one I love! Her face is perfect and her dress is so elaborate and impresses me more than the blonde Rapunzel! But the Blonde one is more iconic but it is also a lot more pricey!

Another tough call, because certain things will always factor in to sway each person toward one doll or the other, such as: Blonde Rapunzel with long hair vs. Brunette Rapunzel with short hair; 17" doll vs. 12" dolls; preferred color palettes; etc.

Hands-down for me, LE Wedding Rapunzel has one of the best gowns of the 17" LE doll series in the awesome design and details, however I am less of a fan of her short brown hair (but the 17" Wedding Rapunzel doll is the best rendering of Rapunzel's short brunette hair in doll form so far). So if I were to pick based on the gown alone, 17" LE Wedding Rapunzel wins for me. Also, LE Wedding Rapunzel is probably going to be one of the only female 17" LE princess dolls that will be dressed in white (or rather off-white), which will always stand out in the crowd--much in the way that if LE Aurora is dressed in pink, she will totally shine amongst all of the other 17" LE princess dolls.

But as I said, I am more of a fan of blonde Rapunzel with long hair, and the DFDC Rapunzel is near-perfect among all of the DS Rapunzel dolls. Her shorter bangs are an issue for me that makes her less than perfect, and her gown is quite dark--even darker than her gown ought to be. In the film, Rapunzel wears a brighter violet color with accents of pink, but DFDC Rapunzel is predominantly in a dark royal purple. DFDC Rapunzel and Flynn also seriously need some reposing work to display them nicely. DFDC Flynn actually looks a lot less angry in person, but in the factory pose, he is very much blocked out by DFDC Rapunzel.

As always, go with what makes the most sense to your heart (and available space). I foolishly refuse to resist buying all of the princess-related LE dolls, and I seriously do not have display space for all of them at the same time, which is not practical!
 
I don't no, I love the pictures of the the DDFC Rapunzel but looking at it in person I am just not wowed by it, it's just "meh". In the new year I think I'm going to concentrate more on the 17 inch and not on the designers.

But it is a tough call as with you I think wedding Rapunzels dress is amazing and she is very pretty. But if I'm only getting one then I think it should be the blonde 17inch because it's more iconic. The blonde Rapunzel is so expensive though!£300 roughly on eBay, wereas wedding is less than £100. I was looking at "sold" items and a blonde Rapunzel sold last week for barely over £100, but now that I'm looking all the current listings are super expensive! I never drop on the bargains haha.

Even though pink is my favourite colour I have always said I'd like LE aurora in blue but now I think because we have Elsa and Cinderella both In blue, aurora would really pop In pink.

i really hope they make some kind of cool looking version of maleficent for the live action film! Along with maybe a 17' doll for the diamond release next year! I have to say, sleeping beauty isn't one of my favorite disney movies, but I think maleficent is by far my favorite villain. Her design is just plain cool looking, she has one one of my favorite color combos (black and purple) and she turns into a bad*** looking dragon. What other villain does cool stuff like that?


on a side, sort of off topic note, I've decided I wanna collect all the diamond edition releases of the princess movies. Of course I decided this the day after all of the black friday deals when TLM was on sale for $10 at Walmart. They're so expensive normally! Even the non bluray version. What's different about the diamond edition that makes it more money?
 
I have to say, the 17" dolls are HUGE! Anna (that's all that came in) is so pretty, I'm thinking that maybe I should get a 17" wedding rapunzel....
