Okay, so I am super excited for the release of Frozen on Blu-ray and DVD. Its my third favorite film of the year and its on my top 10 favorite Disney films list (and its the only CG film on my list not including Pixar of course). So imagine my joy when I seen the list of special features that were being bundled with the release. However, I just went to Stitch Kingdom to see an article about how the special features were going to be disappointing and make fans angry. I read it, and it turns out each of the special features are only a few minutes each! Even the bloody making of feature! Like, what the heck Disney? Pixar has a complete separate disc for their special features.Your DVD releases of your other films had boatloads of special features or at least enough to satisfy people. I am horribly disappointed. And i thought the hate couldn't get any worse after the absence of a 3D release (though I personally dont care about that, I know a lot of people were bothered by it).

Tangled and Wreck it Ralph were in CG. Not sure if the extras are finalised yet but im pretty sure they may release another version later down the track when they decide to release the 3D blu ray as well.

Dont forget there is nothing to stop Disney from releasing another bluray for Frozen later down the track with more features. Also it wouldnt make sense for them not to release the movie in 3D. They could have just had production issues so may release that later down the track due to delays and not wanting to push back the release date in order to capitalise on the ongoing hype.

Oh I know lol I meant its the only CG animated film on my top 10 that isn't Pixar. Sorry for wording that wrong.
And I figure they will, but I don't understand why. Pixar does all their first releases with loaded special features. Disney should do at least a good hour and a half's worth and then save the rest for the Diamond Edition that will for sure come on down the road. Still it bugs me.

At least you get some!!! In the UK we get 1 disc blu rays with like 1 special feature and that's it :(
I'm sorry :(. I don't know why Disney as a lot of other companies are so light on special features on first releases and making different ones for different countries. Its probably for re-releases down the road, but that's not fair and cheats us out of our money.

It sucks :(, we don't get re releases either, well except when they release them from the vault :/! We use to get 2 disc blu rays with a DVD disc too then suddenly it was just 1 disc, but the worst part is they charge the same price for less content!!!!!

To be honest I would say that Disney was not expecting Frozen to be such a huge hit. I mean they wanted it to do well but I dont think they were expecting it to be this much of a success so maybe the features they originally had lined up which originally would have been fine are no longer considered sufficient.

That sounds awful! I hate it when movie companys do things like that. Well I hope that you all get much better releases in the future.

I just hope that later on, we get a release with much better special features. They would have been fine as is if they were longer. It means I will have to double dip, but it will hopefully be worth it. Frozen was such a wonderful film, and I want to see all the hard work and talent that was going on behind the scenes as it was being made.
