I figured this would be a pretty cool thread to start...sorry if there already is one!!

So lets talk about how there’s two lion king pins missing…

or

Also, has anyone ever notice how all the blue of each set is on one side or another (Like it's always on the edge?) (The backgrounds I mean?) I wonder if you get them all if they’ll make a picture in the end!! (Like a hidden mickey!)

I started thinking about this after I saw the lion king set on ODPT and it said it was a quarterly pin puzzle set.

Any thoughts? Anyone love or hate the series?

Also Scar and Ursula are the only pins so far that will have duplicates...Maybe there could be more? I would love an all princess set!

My guess for the chasers is Zazu and Sarabi. They're the only major characters missing.

Though it would be nice for Sarafina to get a pin of her own.

I was wondering why they're called Quarterly? The Lion King set will be released in June and The Little Mermaid set will be released in July.

I love the new Lion King set that is coming out too! I think it is so beautiful, very well designed and the background colors behind the hyenas and Rafiki just blows me away! We need Zazu and Simba's momma though! Maybe those are the missing pins?

Technically 2nd Qtr is Apr-June and 3rd Qtr is July-Sept.

The events people said they are really happy with the popularity so they are looking to make more available.

I agree that the Lion King set is beautifully done. It's going to KILL my wallet, though. I'm wondering if it'll be released out here too, or just in Florida.

I just can't wait for that Lion King set (see what I did there?)

Dorky jokes aside, I'm hoping it's Zazu and Sarabi for the chasers (as awesome as adult Simba and Nala would be) - there aren't enough Sarabi pins out there :)

Also, looks like it'll be on both coasts:

Retail Price: $12.95

Walt Disney World Release Date: June 10

Disneyland Resort Release Date: June 10

Oh, thanks goodness!

Now I just have to find someone who's willing to get some boxes for me on the 10th (or that they'll last until the evening, so I can head to the park after work). I'm taking a bunch of time off of work up until then and can't take off yet another day, especially "just" for Disney pins...

(I'll probably head to the park after work anyway, since the Lion King anniversary pin is also coming out on the 10th.)

But I thought that's how all the sets are? Eight basic pins and two chasers for ten pins total. We just don't know what the chasers are going to be yet, which is why they aren't in the image.

(Congrats ahead of time on getting the set! :) )

if they are like the pixar ones just wait a few weeks and they will restock them. shoot they are still available.

O-O The TLM Collection pins are coming in July? Looks like I'll just miss them completely on both trips this year...... ;-; Time to get some better pins and trade for them! :D

no there's 12. In the first set there's an extra snow and Cheshire cat pin that is glittery and metallic. The villains has an extra of cruella and maleficent.

the tlm set shows its ten and two of them will be extras.

maybe the chasers will fit together and make a puzzle!!!!!

I've noticed Disney doesn't often use one of their scariest villains in most of the Villains franchise items. Hmmm. Well I suppose the movie isn't very popular anymore; though actually very good.

The Lion King set is cool, Xan will probably want it.

Nope. But I do agree he's pretty scary; that movie was never popular however. I'm talking about Frollo from HoND. He's scary in a different sense; no magical powers or anything... but he believes what he is doing is right. He's a realistic villain, therefore he's pretty frightening.

Oh, got it. Well, in a way that's kind of good; less money to spend to complete the set. ;)

I wish that Black Cauldron got more love. It's one of my favorite Disney movies; we even had the computer game and would play it endlessly. I like that they went darker with it than most of their movies.

Its a good movie in my opinion, not one of my favourites; but good anyhow. Also... it has John Hurt... JOHN HURT! :D Annnnnnd lets not forget it was the first Disney movie to use computer animation as well.

No it wasn't the first. The Great Mouse Detective used it in the Big Ben scene, Beauty and the Beasts ballroom scene used it, the Cave of Wonders in Aladdin, the Stampede scene from The Lion King, and if you wanna get REALLY technical The Black Cauldron is the first Animated film credited to using computer generated animation for it's special effects and fire.

Errr... yeah I was talking about the Black Cauldron.
