Since the POMH Dumbo is coming out soon I plan on buying as much as I can. But my question is since I don't own any POMH how many "POMH" are there for each chacater?

My point is I want to buy ALL the scenes of Dumbo but I want to know how many are there of the set being released of Dumbo? EX: Are there going to be ONLY 5 pins with different pictures? But all 5 are the same of picture but in multiplies?

Another EX: 5 pictures....first pin with one picture from Dumbo and it's LE ...second pin with one different picture from Dumbo and it's LE....

This question is so hard for me to ask (I sound stupid).....I might not make sense but I hope someone does understand what I am asking....:dunno:

I'm not sure, but I can almost guarantee one thing: there will be scenes of Dumbo's butt for sure!

All 2000 pins(that is the LE #) run in a sequence which is one scene from the movie that is several minutes long. Several pins in a row will be similar, but there will be too many different ones to even count. To get all of the different ones of Dumbo you could be buying quite a few. That is how so many people have gotten caught up in getting so many is that the cels are pretty much all different/unique.

If they are using a continuous piece of 35mm film to make these then there is approx. 1 minute and 40 seconds worth of film used to make the entire run of 2000. With the average scene lasting 5 seconds that's around 20 scenes. In most classic animation each drawing was almost always used for 2 frames of film so there could be 2 that are identical. Certain movements, particularly very fast or very slow movements required drawings being used only once.

What a breakdown. :)

The geek in me is showing. ;)

Having done some animation I can appreciate the fact, and hard work, that goes in to making a 75 minute animated film. It takes over 43,000 drawings just to get the characters and other elements moving. Throw in the background paintings, layout drawings, story sketches, character designs, etc. and I'm sure that number rises to at least 45,000.
