There was a scarf in the 1st princess line (of Jasmine if I remember correctly) and there was an evil queen scarf in the villain line. They didn't do a scarf last year.
 
sorry for the silly question, haven't been online for a while, but are the dolls going to be sold separately in stores on some designated date? o:

Sorry I've been away from all the discussion! I had a bad cough that turned out to be pneumonia so I've been resting lots. I would normally be worried (I hate ordering dolls too!), but every time I've ordered a doll, I've been prepared and everything went smoothly! The Snow White from last year definitely took a long time to sell out- she was still on the web site 2 weeks later because I ordered her along with my Rapunzel doll that was the second set to be released. And in the 2011 line, Cinderella was online for 2 weeks, and Ariel for a whole week. Granted, the Frozen dolls have caused a lot of scalpers to crop up, but there's going to be 6000 of each doll, and if you've prepared properly, you should be able to order before it's 12:10. I'm always able to check out within a couple minutes, go over my order and send it, and then have another 10-15 minutes before they sell out. AND if you do happen to be unable to add the doll to your cart at some point, wait a little while. I know people say Aurora was only online for 15 minutes before selling out, but I was there and was able to put her in my cart after about 10 minutes of being unable to do so and told some people to go back and order her and they were successful! Worst comes to worst, the secondary market is going to sell them at higher costs the first week or so, and then they'll all drop down to about retail. Keep calm and be prepared *sings Lion King* If anybody would like any tips for fast checkout, feel free to PM me (so scalpers don't see)

Regarding the part of your post that I bolded: this is good advice in general. When giving out tips and tricks, be aware that any information (general) you share publicly (as in this thread) will be seen by scalpers. There is a reason the site crashes during these releases. Some of the tips have been told repeatedly, but if you come up with something new or exciting, be careful how you share it. :)
 
The only other merch I'm interested in besides the dolls is the lithographs and maybe one or two of the journals. If there is a Pocahontas shirt, I'd love to get one of them for my mom.

Hey scalpers, I heard the best way to get this set (you should write this down!) is to not bother going online and to leave everyone alone and go spend your money somewhere else :)

Whoo So Excited Late night doll party! this is the first time im going for them online. I thought it would be a good idea to avoid having to go to the store every other week. I really don't want tiana but eh her dress is very pretty. Only down side is I have to wait for them all to come out before I get them delivered. good luck to every one! I hope the servers dont crash.
 
Excitement is in the air. Do they all get released tonight? If yes, is it California time or NY time? Please assist me here. I'm new and lost over here. eBay $1299.99 entire set posted yesterday!!! Go figure

California time. So a little after 3:00 AM on the east coast. And you can pre-order the full set tonight, but you can't buy them individually.

I must admit, even though this hobby can be stressful to many of us sometimes, the wait till the site updates can be kind of fun with all of us here talking about how excited we are. Its like those people waiting and camping out in tents for days in front of a store for a new game or movie except we are in the comfort of our homes in front of our computer/phone screens. :lol:

I'm not sure if I'm buying any of the dolls in this set, I just don't have the money, but I'm really excited for the journals and mugs. I somehow started collecting Disney journals and mugs. I'm also really hoping for a cinderella or Pocahontas shirt with this release.

I love journals and mugs so much :) I have far too many mugs though, and a lot of the time I think journals are too pretty to write in xD but I might cave and get a Cinderella one. One thing I really wish they'd re-release is that Cinderella hoodie that came out during the blu-ray release when they had the LE Cinderella and Lady Tremaine dolls. It looks so comfy and pretty and I just wish I'd gotten it when I had the chance. Oh well. Fingers crossed on lots of pretty merchandise this year!

I don't use most of the mugs I get. They are displayed in my room along with my other princess merch. Same with the journals. I don't use them but have them on display.

My Snow White collection:

I also got the Evil Queen designer notebook and the new Evil Queen disney store mug but this pic is about a month old.

Though all the mugs I do use at home are Disney.

It really is! I am pretty much a lurker, but during releases it's so much fun to have people to talk to and watch the convos, people getting their sets, ect.

Oh I love it whenever people say they got to order the sets they wanted and then, once they get them, they talk about how gorgeous and amazing they are in person. It just makes me really happy to see people collecting and cherishing things they like :).
 
I am already feeling guilty about spending so much money on these dolls, but I KNOW I am going to be tempted by all the other merchandise. The last thing I need is another mug, but I might get the Cinderella one. Just so worried about it breaking in shipping though.

For those who are ordering both the doll set tonight as well as other merchandise, are you going to get it all in one purchase or get the dolls first and then go back for the rest?

I suggest ordering the thing you want MOST then going back for the minor things. Lik I'm expecting the pins to be crazy so I'm gonig to try to order them first.

Don't worry about the mugs breaking during shipping. They are packaged inside a box in the box Disney ships everything in.

I recommend ordering the dolls and pins (assuming they come out tonight) and go back for the rest. The dolls and pins will be the fastest things to sell out. Everything else will last at least a few hours if not days. I'm pretty sure the Ariel and Rapunzel mugs sold out within the first day they were released but where back online within a week or two last year.
