I don't know wether i should be excited or terrified. Since Dollmaggedon 2014 i don't think i will be able to get any of them.
I love Frozen and their characters, i would love to have some new LE Dolls, too, but i am so scared that i won't be able to buy any of them!
Ok so I just got off Skype with the Disney Store (thanks SO much for that tip, saved me 20 minutes worth of call charges!)...so here is my situation. As I thought, my doll is now considered lost. They offered me a replacement....no idea if they have extra dolls or what. I said no I just want a refund as I'm done with the whole situation. So hopefully my card will get refunded without another call.
Thanks nayachigo. It's just crazy to think we have waited since July for these dolls, getting through the quick sell out and then at the last step it all goes wrong. If I was Disney I would seriously be concerned that a whole bunch of dolls just got "lost". I hope it turns out better for you.
I’m not really into dolls, but a friend here got me a little hooked. Anyway, I got the five dolls last year and wasn’t going to get more. But Husband said he wanted the “classic princesses” (and Ariel last year, cause he likes her), so we “needed” Cindy and Briar Rose this year.
Yesterday he dropped me off at the mall. There were LE dolls I hadn’t heard of--that my friend didn’t tell me about because I said I didn’t want to get into dolls--so no blame on her at all. Anyway, the cast was handing out cards for Prince Phillip, Aurora, and Maleficent (which I’m sure you all know). I was #9. There were 9 of each--but a Prince Philip was damaged, so I missed out on him but got the other two.
Then there were only 6 Cindy/Charming dolls and about 20-24 people! Missed out. I’m OCD enough that I wanted to complete that set.
But I stayed up last night til midnight and managed to get Philip AND Cindy/Charming ordered!!!
Yay!!!

I did the same thing! AND had a $20 gift credit from them for a damaged item from months ago.
I called this morning. They applied the prior $20 gift card, but credited me another $20 instead of the $17.95 shipping. Fine by me, right?!
I really shouldn't get into dolls. I don't follow them, really. But having a friend who does, she'll let me know what to look for. As it is, these dolls (last year and this year) are either going for trade/sale in the far future, or will be gifted to nieces in the farther future, when they're old enough to leave them on the shelf as a collectible. Likely the second. One niece is a girly-girl-princess and the other is treated as one. Lol

Oh yes, hi! I was the really quiet one who was sitting down the entire time and then when I got up, it hit me like a falling brick because I had sat down for so long! I regret not getting Phillip now but last night wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be online! In all honesty, I think it was more organized and less chaotic than how things were going for us in the store! lol
I hope yall were able to get some sleep after yall left!
Prince Phillip is still available online. Seeing him sitting there just waiting for someone to purchase him, I am feeling very tempted right now to buy an extra so blue and pink Aurora each get their own man and don't have to share. Wouldn't want the girls getting jealous. LOL

So my Dollmeggedon experience continues! LOL
I was looking at my receipt from the Disney Store this morning and they charged me for my Pink Aurora pre-order (which I already paid for when I pre-ordered her months ago) in addition to Maleficent....so basically I should have only been purchasing Maleficent but I was charged AGAIN for Pink Aurora.
I just swiped my credit card yesterday morning and was so tired I didn't even look at the total...I should have been more careful but I just wanted to get my dolls and go. So I had to drive 30 minutes back to the mall today and get a refund back on my credit card for Pink Aurora. They were very apologetic but it was just annoying after having to be at the mall for over 6 hours yesterday LOL.
Usually my in-store experience is super smooth and easy and the online experience is frustrating...this time it was reversed!
If anyone else pre-ordered Pink Aurora in the store...check your receipt and make sure you weren't charged again.

Phillip is amazing in person, I love him so much more than I thought I would? Did you decide to purchase him online or are you sticking to your guns and skipping him? LOL The online release did seem smoother than our in store experience, I'm sad to say I ended up with a damaged pink Aurora but I am just happy I have all of them now. We were able to get some sleep in afterwards, thanks!
I restyled mine without removing him from the box. Luckily he's got a lot of hair on top, so there's wiggle room to get rid of that slicked back look. Just sad there's no way to give him sideburns. Still love him, though. He's my top pick out of the SB dolls.
So what exactly is Maleficent's background? I love how the gray contrasts so well with the box and the colors on Maleficent herself. But I picked up the Diamond Edition yesterday and watched it but I didn't see a scene with that background anywhere in the film.
Yeah, the one I have -- his hair is really kind of weird and choppy near the back. I had to smooth it back a bit behind his ear because it was sticking up. From what I can tell, I don't think the back of his head would look very good if he was ever deboxed. I only have the one so I didn't know if they were all like that or if it was just mine.
Funny, I was thinking the same thing you were -- I want another one just so I can fix his hair!

Quasimodo, what did you do to restyle it? Mine was so stiff with glue it would hardly move.
And yeah, I love Prince Phillip. I think he's cute, and I love his clothes and accessories. I really am surprised he is so unpopular.

Well, I almost bought him last night but I didn't because of all the money I spent on the other dolls. Then when I saw that he was still in stock today, I took that as a sign and bought him! He really is much better than what the stock photos represent so I am happy with my decision to get him! I'm sorry you ended up with a damaged pink Aurora! The back of my blue Aurora has a tiny ding, I feel like we should get a tiny discount even if it's 5% back for this! lol
I ended up skyping the disney store about my no tracking Aurora doll. They are probably getting annoyed with the same question as I can`t say the lady was very helpful. She was like "Oh we are waiting for an updated tracking number and it should take 24-48 hours" Yes, but that was five days ago and you still don`t have an updated tracking number. Where are all these missing dolls? Its one thing for a handful of dolls to go "missing" but this sounds like all the international dolls have gone missing
