I spoke to a DisneyStore member today, rang them from Australia. Due to initial problems with payment for my pink preorder, she didn't get "sent" with the rest. She told me that due to a lot of frozen merchandise recently released the warehouse is completely overrun with orders. This is why I have not received a blast-off email. I'm wondering if maybe all the other international orders, the ones sent on time, are not actuaaly lost but because of troubles in the warehouse they haven't actually shipped the doll to UPS yet? This is completely just a "what if" scenario, as it seems really stupid to have lost hundreds of dolls. They can't have just disappeared.
 
This is what I am hoping but when I talked to someone they said the warehouse hadn't gotten back, you would think with all of us asking, they would admit that they hadn't actually been sent and it was a mistake
 
Not sure whether to have some faith or completely give up with the pink Aurora! :D checking my email like every minute for a reply!

This is certainly interesting it is all international orders. Maybe they're indeed just waiting at the warehouse... But this is definitely not acceptable. I've never had such problem with any store!

If I call them what should I say? I'm worried because my order status is closed, because it had "shipped". But if it's sitting at the warehouse and doesn't get picked up anymore because it already left based on the closed status..
 
Yeah I think they just haven't really shipped for some reason yet but I just wish they would admit.

Although I've talked to someone on facebook and he said he knows two persons that got hers in Germany so it seems some have arrived. I'm going to ask him if those had a UPS tracking number or not.
 
Not sure if it helps but my order was from the uk and the CM on the phone last night told me it was officially lost after 15 minutes on hold.
 
I wasn't outright told it was lost and have emailed them several times trying to get updates so I have the tiniest little shred of hope but its slim
 
Has anyone who ordered from the UK not received their dispatch email yet? All my friends have received theirs but I'm still waiting for mine.

So all the international pink Auroras seem to be missing at the moment? That's quite sizeable amount! I hope the orders get through eventually.

Yes, you should get an email when they're shipped. Usually I'd say it's too soon but my friends had theirs dispatched yesterday so I'm a tiny bit concerned. They must have a ton of orders to send though so it's probably fine :)

Like others, I did not receive any tracking and they have also lied to me concerning the date she was shipped, since Disney states that she was shipped on the 8th, which was Yesterday, making it impossible for her to arrive at my doorstep this morning.
Also since I corrected my address from Denmark to Japan around October 1st (where they without my consent had changed it from Japan to Denmark) and even though my address was changed, they still delivered her to Denmark.
I'm thankful that I didn't have to pay any custom charges for her, but now I'm stuck with her here in Denmark, since I'm moving to Japan in December and I have enough luggage as it is, especially with two babies as well - thank you Disney.

Besides that I wanted to give other international customers hope that your dolls might not be lost anyway - since I went through the same as everyone else and was ready to have her declared lost.

Oh wow! Congratulations. At least it's positive for some international people and not a total nightmare! Just obviously a serious communication problem with disney and ups and customers

Hope everyone else gets their dolls. This international shipping sounds really concerning, how could they mess up so bad?
 
@milaya, that's great news (eventhough they messed up the shipping adress...)! so they all might "just" be stuck somewhere and on their way. I still have hope!
 
Well, I thought it might give a little hope to others waiting, since my situation was the same - International shipping, no tracking, miscommunication and wrong information from Disney.
Maybe there's a lot of dolls coming soon. All we can do is hope.

It's a bit annoying that I probably have to leave this Aurora behind at my mother's place when I move, since she's in perfect condition. Not a scratch on her box (which seems rare with disney), no flaws on the doll and she's a low number (226).

I was going to say wait, but then I see you're in the UK. In the US, if you pick standard (free) shipping, they don't usually get it ready to be shipped until 5-7 business days after you've ordered. They do the express (more expensive) shipping first because their delivery times for that are 2 business days and 3 business days.

UK you should be getting an email re: shipment fairly soon

It's a bit too soon I would think. It can easily take a few more days for them to process those orders.
Standard delivery takes 7-9 days within the US - since the also have the option of express delivery.

Am from the UK and just spent 17 mins on phone to america and they are sending me a replacement pink aurora . Thought they all sold out? Something dodgey going on.

They usually have replacements on hand for damaged or lost items. I remembered they lost my 1st designer Ariel doll and they shipped me a replacement doll.
