There is more than one line forming!!!What line do I stand in?I really need a bathroom bad!!!

exactly! but they really do seem to make the limited editions cooler/better than the open editions. so then i want all these LE that are impossible to get without spending a fortune! And I don't see what Disney gets out of it. Like there are so many people that will want these frozen pins, the store/employees will have to put up with mayhem (from what i glean from other postings, these releases can be quite stressful for employees) and then people go and sell them for crazy amounts on ebay and stuff. Disney then doesn't see any of that additional profit. But if they made more of the pins they could then make more profit because obviously they would sell. I'm baffled by the logic. And sad that i cannot get so many of the pins that i truly would love to own one day. But i do wish everyone luck who is going to the event! i'd love to go to an event for the experience, meet other traders, etc. and obviously to snag a cool pin lol

Except not all would sell. There are lots of LE pins with higher edition sizes that are on the racks for weeks, months, til it gets clearanced out. Disney wants to keep Frozen as a hot commodity, which means having lower edition sizes.

yea but they know frozen is crazy popular and larger edition sizes would sell out! I am avoiding frozen pins because I know I will never be able to afford the ones I like. Which is sad because I would buy them if they made them as larger editions or even open editions. I just think some of them are super cute

Aparently, WDI isn't allowing anyone to line up before 6 a.m. I wonder how long that's gonna hold up.

I heard people started lining up this AM but that it's been told to move out. I guess we will see once their business closes at 6 p.m.-ish, how many people will go back to lining up.

I hear ya. I just want the Kristoff pin out of this set. He doesn't have too many solo pins and this is definitely the best one so far. There's only one OE pin of him and it's not exactly great.

I really love the one with Olaf riding Sven but it's selling for like 165$ on eBay! I so cannot spend that on a pin! I totally let the Ariel shadow box I've been dying for go and that was only selling for 125$ which is a steal compared to what I've seen it sell for. I can't justify over 100$ for one pin :(

Sitting in my car and this was just handed to me.

It was a bit of a cluster-F. Security came over and told us at 5:55 that they were taking us across the street. People ran for the gate but the security guard who had came to talk to us stood on the sidewalk next to the driveway and said that was the beginning of the line. So all the people that ran to the gate had to be told to join the line on the sidewalk. Hubby and I were #37 and 38. Got one pin voucher, in and out in about a half hour and home by 9:30 :) Complete with 1 set of Frozen pins :) So happy! Hope others were lucky too!

There is also a problem with Kristoff’s left eye. The CM who sold me mine said the entire edition side was like that.

I have not seen any other thread detailing what went on atthe release. So I will share some info in this reply in the event those not there were interested in some details.

Only about 506 were in line by the 7:30 AM cut-off. So the odds of getting a good voucher for the LE 300 pins being released were way better than I have seen at several of the hot DSSH releases. I had expected at least double this amount for hot DSSH releases have been known to have more than 1000 people show up for what are typically LE 400s.

The vouchers seemed to be particularly well-mixed. They were folded in twice, making their footprint a bit bigger than ¼ the size of the DSSH vouchers that are not folded at all. I heard of more than one couple having gotten only one good voucher between the two of them.

The good vouchers were non-transferable. All the unique wrist band numbers (which had been put on us earlier) were recorded on a chart and a CM noted on that chartwhich wrist-banded guest had gotten a good voucher number. This made it impossible for good vouchers to be sold for $ to guests who had gotten a bad voucher number (something that occurs often at hot DSSH releases).
