So I bought some pin display cases at Micheal's and the back was not going to work (not thick enough for pins to go through) so I had to improvise. I think it turned out okay :) Left blank spots for when I complete the collections :) I'm going to complete 3 more displays (for now). Not as artsy a display but I like it. Let me know what you think

So I wasn't planning on doing the other 3 tonight, but I got on a roll :) Man its hard to get pins out of the pins books. Those mickey backings are stuck on tight. My fingers hurt lol
Anyway I thought I'd show the rest of my collection. I've only been collecting for about a year. I think its coming along...

This looks great! I am jealous of all of your pins. Love your completed puzzle set. Keep it up! Can't wait to see what year two will bring.
 
Your collection looks great, especially the hinged stained glass pins. Those things drive me crazy because if I place them in a frame it's either open and you can't really see the outside, or closed but then you can't really see the inside, LOL.

That's very true. I love hinged pins but when putting them in my display I have to decide open or closed! And it can be a tough choice. I have to update my pictures. I now have all 4 displays full(mostly) and all the attraction poster pins set :)
ill take some new pictures soon
 
They look wonderful!!! :bigthumb: If they are the shadowbox type frames and you can find a paint canvas that will fit the frame, those work great inside of these frames!!! :D That is what I use in mine when I can get ones that will fit! :)
 
I love your displays! I think you have a very good sense of space!


I know you said they're not as artsy as you'd like...with a little bit of scrap book paper I think that can be fixed if you ever redo them! My grandma and I just use scrapbook paper, felt, stickers or whatever else we can find in ours and it makes them really really cute.
