I kept seeing people write that they didn't think Kristoff would sell out. I was confident that if any male dolls would sell out it would be him and (if they make him) Aladdin.
 
Real messed up situtation happened with me.

Was supposed to get for two people. Both backed out.
One decided to get them a few hours ago.
Another on the spot.

Managed to only get one set of Anna and Elsa.
Everything else sold out by the time I checked out. lol

Not too sure that these will be back up. Like many people said, the online allocation was just way lower this round.

Yeah, I'm not surprised he sold out either, they only had 8 at my store and the 9th person in line never got one. She kinda deserved it though, she had just gotten to the mall shortly before the doors opened and attempted to cut in front of everyone else by running to the store entrance first. We all pushed her back to her proper place in line once we arrived, then she boldly started asking if anyone would give up there ticket for Kristoff when she learned he was sold out. Congrats to all those who wanted and were able to get him!
 
The speed with which these sold out is a little frightening! I passed on these to save money for Cinderella. Will her release be this wild? Because she is online and in store the same day, I'm scared of trying both and failing because it's my first 17" doll and I'm just not familiar with everything.
 
Are they all sold out now? I rembered that the informative thread said Coronation Elsa is sold out within 40 mins and this time? less than 40 mins? that's crazy!

No way. This is Frozen.
That is a cinderella doll that:
a) costs $10 more.
b) Is very identical to the $30 version.

She won't sell out instantly like Frozen, but expect her to sell out within 20-40 minutes.

At my mall, if you weren't there by 6am then you did not get a doll. I got the last Kristoff at my mall. Some people were upset, but I set my alarm for 4am and had to wake up a toddler too.

As far as a male doll, I am hoping for an awesome Aladdin. He is definitely one of my favorite males.
 
The LE Frozen dolls sold out in about 11 min......What happened to the people saying that they were never going to get these dolls cause they are hella ugly lol. Anyways, I think these dolls won't turn out to be like the Sleeping Beauty ones they would probably cost as much as the previous Frozen Dolls but with Anna and Kristoff being Coronation Elsa's price and Depressed Elsa being Nordic Anna priced

You're right that a lot of people did say they didn't like them but my theory is that 1) THIS IS FROZEN and 2) resellers will buy any of the dolls.

I was happier with Elsa in person, but favored Anna. Even my kids, who would normally chose Elsa, went for Anna.

I actually prefer snow gear Anna over this latest one, just because I feel that the tinsel in her hair was a bit too much. Love both Elsa's that I have, but kinda prefer the skin on the one that came out today over that of my coronation doll.
 
This release was insane. Was lucky to get all three yesterday through the german store. Today i helped a friend to grab Elsa and Anna since she couldn't get them yesterday (sold out immediately). She couldn't find them on the website and her internet crashed, so i had to log in and managed to get them in the cart. But as i wanted to check out the store told me that there is something wrong with my adress and i couldn't buy them.
I was so angry and frustrated, she was so sad. Was looking for some "good" ebay auctions but they want just crazy prices...
After a while i checked the order history...
And then there it was... Anna and Elsa... I still can't believe it, but the order went through.
This release was a pain in the ***... but finally... we made it.

So happy for everyone who could get their dolls.
 
Ok. So here's what happened:

People figured, well, what do I have to lose? If I don't like them, I'll trade them or sell them.

Or

People said: Hm... They actually look better in the non-DisneyStore pictures.

So everyone got them. I think only 2% of the doll collector regulars didn't get them. 2% void was filled with new people.
