I want to see these ivory shoes in the wedding cindy
The dent is hard to see but i hope you can fix it!
Can somebody tell me if the box of blue Cindy is as big as the regular ones?
Oh that's a bummer. Hope you can straighten it out.
The line at my store was the shortest I've seen except for when Fawn came out. I could have waited another hour and a half to get in line and I would have been in the same exact spot. I guess most people got them online.
I'm so lame. All I did was pull the plastic cover, as if to remove it, and it popped back into shape. I untied the back and removed the cardboard cover for nothing, lmao.
Now that I know how the boxes work, I won't worry about a dent next time. There are slight imperfections around where the dent was, but it could've been worse.
Everyone I've shown at work doesn't seem impressed that this doll is based on Lily James. And they're usually pretty intrigued by my dolls. Hope I still like this one after I get her home and settled. Right now I actually love her.
So, 'Limit 1 per Guest. Available online only.' is just a joke...
left house around 7:40 arrived around 8 and there were two people in line. Stayed like that until 9 when a woman showed up. Everyone was sweet we passed time talking to each other, it was really nice. My store actually had 10 cinderellas. They did not have Hans, wedding, or any other surprises.
The doll is absolutely gorgeous in person, and in my opinion much better than the regular doll. There are so many beautiful details and the box alone is gorgeous. The front of the box is connected to ribbon which is unfortunate because I could not open her because I did not want to untie the gorgeous ribbon! So that's really the only downside. It's a lot like the regular boxes... Same materials, but it is a different shape, almost like a store window. overall I'm very very pleased.
That's for the US, although I did see on FB that the DS in NYC usually gets "online release only" items. In Europe, it was released online and in selected stores (Paris, London, no idea where else, but it was on the Disney Blog).
I didn't stay up for the dolls, but do like looking at pictures.
...the look of the live-action doll takes some getting used to after being accustomed to the animated dolls...

Thank you! I was so worried I'd walk into a huge line... Or that they'd have less than 5 dolls at my location...Yea! Congrats! Glad you were able to get her.
Oh my God, THIS!
I'm not sure where I want to display her, because she makes the animated dolls (especially the newer princesses) look like aliens. I think for a while... I'm going to display her in the TV room so that I can stare at her. My bf will lllllllove that! (though, Cinderella is his favorite princess / movie in a non-Disney fan capacity)
I'm also thinking about blinging up her box with rinestones. I literally have thousands (and lots of practice applying them), so it wouldn't take me longer than an evening. Maybe this excitement will wane eventually, lol.
I completely understand how some people feel about not getting the dolls over scalpers. I went to get mine today in Oxford Street and when I got there 13 people was already there and 90% of them all men. I think I was the only collector in the queue. I have to say but a collector recognize another collector.
Hopefully I'm not going to upset anyone here but all of the people queuing before me they look like an absolutely tramps and rough. Anyone could tell that they wasn't buying the dolls to collect. All of them was even talking for how much they was going to sell them and for how much they sold the last set of Frozen dolls and Blue/Pink Aurora. It was so uncomfortable being there.
Collecting this dolls it's not fun anymore.
LOL, I live in a tiny one bedroom apartment and I've had to put dolls on practically every wall.
I have the same feeling for SQ Elsa. Love her so much but can't afford $2000. But, I just look forward and frozen fever just gives me a hope that I can have a green version of SQ Elsa. Sometimes, we can't always get what we want.
