I hope we won't see any Frozen for a loooong while now. It's been enough, other characters need dolls. 3 Elsa, 3 Anna and a Kristoff is enough.
 
I hope this is the right place to post this. I noticed a few collectors from Japan? I moved away from Tokyo at the end of last year, and unfortunately had to leave a few of my dolls in storage at my mother-in-laws house in Tokyo. They are still in the packing boxes, put up in the 'oshi ire' in a room that no-one uses much. I am getting a bit worried how they might be affected by the summer humidity. I know when I was there last year, a couple of the monster high dolls my daughters had started to seep sticky stuff from their heads in the summer, so would like to hear how your dolls fare the Japanese summer. Maybe I should ask to have them moved? Any help greatly appreciated!
 
Hi, a few general questions -

Given the relatively long eyelashes on these types of dolls, is it normal for the lashes to sag a little bit over time and/or is this expected to happen based on your experiences?

If I decide to apply real human eyelashes to my custom doll and do not want to steal them off anyone's eyes, are there any recommendations as to where I could purchase them?

Although I am holding out for Frozen Fever dolls, I have to agree. But I know for a fact Disney will probably release two more sets for Frozen 2. :/ To me it just isn't fair that we are missing out on other characters, and yet they released new Frozen dolls with practically no rhyme or reason. Plus, it's getting to be overkill a bit to have multiples of the same character.
 
I can't find it in this long thread, but the latest Cinderella LE 4000 doll, does anyone from the UK know something about it?
I'm going to London May 15th, and someone asked me to have a look there at the Disney Store (I'm not having hopes on it though).

Not in the UK, but I think I remember reading that the Oxford Street location may still have some of these. Don't know if they will still be there in a month though.

I went there 2 weeks ago and asked and they had definitely sold out on Cinderella - apparently she lasted about a week after release.. They still have Fawn, DFDC Tiana, Mulan and Pocahontas though :-)
 
If there's anyone else in the UK looking then apparently Manchester Arndale still has Cinderella in stock
they also had Kristoff and prince Phillip at the weekend too

Dang!

As more people get into doll collecting, the prices seem to raise higher and higher. Right now, I suspect people are waiting for tax returns before buying again :)

Some of my friends never knew about Disney LE dolls could be so stunning before they saw my collections recently. And they start collecting now. Lucky I could get most dolls I love most before the price goes too high but I have to give up searching Sq Elsa now and wait for FF Elsa instead.

I'm with you on that. I couldn't justify spending so much on her when she was around $1000 and I most definitely CANNOT justify spending $2000 on her. I'm even hesitant to spend on Coronation Elsa and she's the more reasonable one of the two. :\

But I am still happy that I could look forward to the possible FF LEs, DFDC Heroin/Villain and especially upcoming Aladdin LEs and these all should not cost more than $1000 at retail. :lol:
 
Went in to my store today and found out my store will be closed through the designer collection and the aladdin dolls! ); the good news is it's remodeling and will be newer and hopefully better. The bad news is threeish months without a disney store! X_x

Gah! My store is remodeling too! I won't be able to check out any of the new merchandise until the end of July. And that was an estimate, I'm sure. I'm a little happy the store is getting a redo but I'm so sad I'll be deprived of easy access DS merchandise. I'll have to drive 3 hours or hope everything is online.
 
It might have already been said, but when is the hero and villains line coming out? I know the line up but have heard nothing about the release date

Honestly it's still a speculated rumor, nothing's confirmed yet. Not even the line itself so I wouldn't be too worried about it just yet.
 
Hi guys, quick question! I'm thinking about selling my SQ Elsa. I could really use the money right now and I don't really have the place for her anymore since I'll be moving abroad soon. She is deboxed, so that will probably lower her value a lot? Do you know what a reasonable price would be for her? Besides being deboxed, the doll and the box are in perfect condition. I'm still not sure if I really want to sell her, but I would like to know what I could expect. Thanks in advance :)
