I'm at the old PinPics site, trying to access my collections list. When I do, I get this message:

[h=1]Internal Server Error[/h]

cannot tie tmp DB - No such file or directory
If this problem persists, please report it to info@pinpics.com


Is anyone else having trouble with PinPics?
 
I am able to log on to Pinpics but I can only see some of the pin pictures. I have to hit "view" to see the pins but only about 25% of the actual pictures are displayed - it's definitely acting weird.
 
I too am having issues with the old site ... I can view the "what's new"pins but not my collection, trades or wants.

Their Facebook page states the following:

"We are aware there is an issue loading particular images on PinPics. We ask that you please be patient with us while we fix the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience"

Does anyone know if the new Pinpics site allows you to compare two member names for wants and trades? That is the feature I use the most and it is still down on the old site for me. I get the same error message as DISDebi.
 
Are they planning to fix the old pinpics site? I really dislike the new site, and if they don't fix the old one I'll have to go searching for a replacement site...

It does allow you to compare your pins to another persons and they are working on adding it so you can compare 2 traders that you are not part of.
 
I just heard that they have been migrating to a new server and they had a terrible time with it. It is now all moved over and they are working on fixing any bugs that are popping up.

The compare feature is coming soon.

They are working on the new site only. They are not maintaining or debugging things on the old site because they are working to make the new site better.

If you are having any issues or find a bug they are asking you let them know at "info@pinpics.com" If you have any questions you can also ask them at that email. Be patient, they will get back to you asap.
 
So the old site won't come back up? I've been checking it for two days now wanting to update my collection. It's the only place I maintain all my pins. This would suck so very much. I really need it.
 
So I've only known the new site and after two days, and hours spent past bedtime, of updating my wants and owns and sending trade requests it erased everything I had done the other day. Let's just say my tired eyes had no tears to fall. Lol. Back on it today! Hoping it all stays put.
