New Star Wars: The Force Awaken pin coming the final weekend of Star Wars Weekends

From Disney Parks Blog, which for some reason a few minutes later pulled the story...

Starting May 15, we will offer T-shirts for adults, women and kids featuring a stormtrooper from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. During the final weekend, June 12-14, we will offer a limited edition stormtrooper pin at Darth’s Mall, located near Streets of America across from Studio Catering Company.

I wonder why? Maybe it got leaked too early? Or it's for a blog post in the future. I remember the reason why they pulled the Frozen Contemporary pin from the Gala was because the blog was going to feature it in a post for the holidays.

Yeah that is my guess... it was just supposed to be a future post that got let out early by accident.
 
The ongoing shipping problems at the Long Beach-Los Angeles ports could also be a problem. The Star Wars VII t shirts are already having shortage problems. The Boba Fett drink mugs arrived only in quantities to give out to the Galactic Gathering attendees. They were not available on the first day of SWW. So, the pin may be stuck on some ship off shore of southern California.
 
Scottyboo.....I'll see what I can do. We are going to WDW June 7-13. We are planning on going to Hollywood Studios for Star Wars weekend on Friday, June 12. I'll try to get you a pin.....fingers crossed!

But I thought these Boba Fett drink mugs were already available at DLR?
 
Nice pin! Really wish it had the Star Wars Weekends logo on it somewhere. I'll probably still get it anyway.... ha ha.


I'v been looking for SWW logo pins and/or backer cards for those pins that I have but have misplaced the backers- any suggestions? Thanks!
