Pinpics account removed?

I was on pinpics last night and barely did anything besides post a pin that had a color error but is legit
This morning I couldn't log into my account and looking my user name up comes out as invalid.

I do remember I message someone if they would sell a set since it was a pretty hard trade. I hope it wasnt from that -_-

But that's what bugs me about pinpics. Why are they looking at the messages people sent?
And no email telling me what happened .

Possibly, the other person reported it? Plus, IMO, Pinpics tends to be overreactive when they think someone is using their resources inappropriately.

But hopefully you can get an answer about what is going on.

To me there is a difference between trying to sell your pins there and offering to pay for a pin, but it is good to know if they consider it the same thing. I've offered cash in addition to pins to even out a trade before but luckily I didn't get into trouble for it. I guess I won't do that anymore.

First let me say nobody at pinpics is reading pm's from people unless there is a complaint, we simply do not have the time to do that. Secondly there are filters that automatically flag certain words. Buy, sell, sale have recently been added to that list since there have been people misusing the site. In the terms of service it states no buying or selling is permitted.

If people want to buy or sell there are plenty of places available including dpf.
