yes. I think her hair actually is not thicker just after 2 CMs from the top braid goes tighter this is a reason why it looks this way. :| I always wonder are those braids made by machine or hands. they are weird as hell . most of them. at first I should wash the curl cz its gelled and hard as stone. this years LE dolls designer ones too have lots of flaws. in paint hair and details. this is my first LE doll (with Hans/Elsa set) but classic dolls from 2011-13 have higher quality.
If I were you, I wouldn't wash the gel on the top of her head. I did that with the classic Elsa doll, then added gel to her bangs, and it didn't end up the same as when I first bought her. One more thing, be careful brushing her hair since the tinsel can unravel.
