Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh!!! This February?! I'm seriously hoping for an le Snow White doll; she's my favorite princess, and I need her badly. Even though I don't have any more room, my favorite princess is an exception!!

This is weird for two reasons.

One, I thought it was already confirmed (but perhaps just widely assumed) that Pinocchio would be the Feb release as I don't think it has been released on Diamond Edition bluray (Platinum yes but not yet Diamond) and two, the "princess" films are always given the fall release which is the bigger of the two Disney Vault releases for each calendar year. The fall release always has more merchandise and advertising and such. I think for the last several years the only film rereleased in the fall that wasn't a princess film was The Lion King in 2011 and that's because it's the freaking Lion King.

So I'm confused as to what they're going for here. Walmart could still be wrong about dates but that seems unlikely given how close this release is now.

One thing I think we can be certain of is an Evil Queen doll. I'm pretty sure they'll do another Snow as well but I hope for a different outfit. Only problem there is she doesn't wear any other outfit in the film (no, I do not want to spend $130+ on a Snow White doll in a fancy rags dress :P ).....

I'm pretty sure they will make Snow White in a more accurate dress, with a extremely low le wedding set that will be hard to get.

It was mainly just assumed. There was a list that was leaked several years ago I believe that showed Disney's entire Diamond Edition line up and when each one was being released. I don't think it was 100% accurate, but it got a lot right. Pinocchio was supposed to be the last one, but that was either an error or Disney just decided to skip out on it. As you pointed out, it already has a Platinum edition release and Disney probably just wanted to get back to re-releasing movies like Snow White again. I think the only reason Sleeping Beauty got the Diamond Edition treatment was so Disney could get some extra cash where Maleficent was coming out the same year.

The February release date has me kind of confused too. It just seems smarter to release princess movies in the fall where it is so close to the holidays. Maybe this means that Alice in Wonderland will be the big release in the fall where the new movie is coming out earlier in the year? Its going to be interesting to see what Disney has planned for this new line. And gosh I can't wait to see what the Evil Queen doll looks like!
 
All I know is that I need Snow White! I wonder if they will give the queen a stylish bun like in the designer doll, a painted head cover thing, or one made of actual fabric?

Ok. So this is completely BS from Disney... They can't even produce cover art that is worthy of having Walt Disney's signature on it.

I'm assuming that the current line up of the 17" will continue with the evil queen and the prince. Snow White (the character) will start a new line of dolls, hopefully with different looking packaging.
Also, Beauty and the Beast is probably the Fall release. Although, if I were Disney, I would delay that till the spring cause that's when the Live Action version comes out.

I would love it if it was an actual fabric head piece that had her hair all inside. I don't think Disney would put that much detail into her though lol. I can't even begin to imagine how beautiful she will look regardless.

I would like to think they will give her a bun. As for Snow White, I'm lowering my expectations so that I'm not disappointed if the doll doesn't meet my expectations, and how I pictured it.

I wonder if The le Snow White dolls will be preorder? Snow White herself could be preorder, while the prince and the queen could be first come first serve. And if the movie is going to be released on February 2, it will be a tsum tsum release since it's the first Tuesday of the month. So if Snow White is going to be preorder, they would have to announce her sometime in December, since from here on now, February is approximately 3 months away, (well a little less than that) and I forget if Disney announces preorders at least two months ahead or so, but anyways, if the DVDs at Walmart already say they are for preorder, it's only a matter of time before Disney announces new merch, and the possible le dolls!!!! I'm already planning this, and giving up Christmas presents for this, see's candy can wait lol!

and I noticed she has some deficiencies.
Her hand has unnecessary detail( I have never been seeing something like that!).

What's a pity! She's very pretty and has so low quality!
I sent to Disneystore e-mail about it but I don't know will they give me some gift card or not. But I will find out it soon!
Now I'm waiting for LE FF Elsa and I'm scared (suddenly she also will have so low quality?).
 
That's really not acceptable! The details are what these dolls are great for! It's really unprofessional to ship something of this value giving that, first, that's a collector item, second, it's not cheap! If 5000 pieces are too many to ensure perfection for everybody I rather have fewer number for each doll! (and probably won't happen, they'd make less money)


Anyway FF Anna is really beautiful and I hope Disney will at least give you a gift card or something!

Snow White Signature Collection: Wait, what? I thought Pinocchio was next since they haven't finished the diamond release. Have they done a Mulan diamond release that I've missed? I remember the release a couple of years ago, which we bought and sadly had to return as the DVD was defective (all of them that we bought at different stores in the area had the same defect so I'm guessing it was a defective run. I've never tried getting a new set because sis & I have been waiting for it to come out on Blu-Ray since we are upgrading our DVDs to blu-rays.
 
I would really love to see some starwars limited edition dolls... The Leia last year was really cool... Could you imagine an 18 inch queen amidala though?
 
If they do make a wedding set for Snow White, then I would expect her wedding dress to look like this.

yesterday there was designer Elsa nude doll auction on ebay. I watched this item for 5 days. (I already have the set but don't want to unbox cz I got perfect copy)
I want unboxed one. but... ebay messed up. I bidded 50$ but someone won it for 38. I don't know why it happened. I have verified US profile on ebay and 100% feedback. so... maybe someone is selling her nude or with clothes for normal-earth price. there is one with clothes for 135$ but I think its too much. if anybody can help please contact me. here or on my email , jorjevanelle@gmail.com


I got FF Elsa and she has not proportion on her forehead hair line. I hate this, Elsa has this problem very often. her hair line is always different from each other.but if I said anything about this to DS they would call me crazy. maybe I am one but I'm picky as hell. and hate when product is different from stock images.
P.S. Braid is extremely short than on stock image. almost most braids are messed up.

here they are. left one I ordered online (ruined curl and not best braid I really want to open and redone it but I'm scared)
second one I got as gift 3 days ago on my birthday.

The braid on the left does look a little weird, the thickness looks inconsistent. If you redo her hair it shouldn't end up bad. When you undo her hair, wet her hair a little so the hair doesn't fly everywhere when you braid her. As for the end of her braid, just comb it nicely, add gel, then blow dry the end of her braid with the lowest and coolest setting.

yes. I think her hair actually is not thicker just after 2 CMs from the top braid goes tighter this is a reason why it looks this way. cz if hair was thicker braid should be thicker from the top.:| I always wonder are those braids made by machine or hands. they are weird as hell . most of them. at first I should wash the curl cz its gelled and hard as stone. this years LE dolls designer ones too have lots of flaws. in paint hair and details. this is my first LE doll (with Hans/Elsa set) but classic dolls from 2011-13 have higher quality.to be honest Frozen ruined everything :D lol
